The Diary Game [01/09/2026] // A Day That Was Supposed to Be Productive but Turned Into Chaos😩.
Hi guys, It’s another beautiful day to share a little bit of my daily lifestyle with you all. I hope everyone is doing well wherever you are and that your day has been treating you kindly. As for me, guys, I honestly had one of the most chaotic and exhausting days ever😩.

My plan for today was very simple, or so I thought. I wanted to focus on getting everything ready for my kids to go back to school. With the new school year approaching, there were quite a few things on my list, and I was determined to get them done today.

My first stop was supposed to be the bank as I needed to make some withdrawals so I could have enough cash for all the shopping I had planned. One of the most important things on my list was paying the first instalment of my kids’ school fees, which was 300,000 FCFA, equivalent to about 12,413 STEEM at the current market value. After making the payment, I planned to take the receipts to their school, confirm their classes, and collect some of their school accessories.
From there, I was supposed to head back to the market to buy their textbooks, notebooks, and other school necessities. In my head, everything was perfectly arranged and I had already imagined myself returning home early, tired but satisfied that I had accomplished everything on my list.
Well… life had a completely different plan for me😂. After leaving the bank, I encountered terrible traffic in town. The roads were so congested that I immediately knew I wouldn’t be able to accomplish everything I had planned. At that point, I decided to focus on the most important thing and buy the books before heading to the kids’ school.
I bought the books and then continued my journey to their school to submit the school fees receipts. Unfortunately, that was when my already stressful day took an unexpected and very frustrating turn.

While we were stuck in traffic, a police officer tried to pass beside our car. According to him, we had driven the car wrongly and, somehow, he claimed that our car had climbed onto his foot. Guys, the whole situation became unbelievable.
He took our car keys and driving licence and insisted that we had to pay him. We tried explaining ourselves and negotiating with him, but the situation dragged on for hours. What made the whole thing even more frustrating was his claim that we had driven over his foot and yet he was walking around normally, showing no obvious sign of injury.
To make matters worse, I noticed him collecting money from other taxi drivers around us. At that point, I was honestly pissed off😩. We had already lost so much time, and instead of completing my errands, I found myself spending practically the entire day on the road trying to resolve an issue I never expected to encounter.

Eventually, the officer decided to return our licence and car keys when his closing time was approaching. Can you imagine? After spending almost the entire day there, that was how the matter finally ended as onlookers intervened and he collected a bribe of 5,000 FCFA.
I eventually got back home at around 4:00 PM, completely exhausted. I was physically tired, mentally drained, and honestly just grateful that the whole frustrating experience was finally over.
What a day guys! Sometimes you leave home with a perfectly organised plan, only for life to rearrange everything for you. Today definitely reminded me that no matter how carefully we plan, we should always leave room for unexpected situations.
I sincerely hope I never have to experience such a day again! 😂Anyway, guys, that’s all for today’s diary. Thank you so much for always coming along with me as I share these little pieces of my everyday life. Until my next diary, I wish you all a splendid and productive rest of your workday. Stay safe, stay positive, and hopefully, your day is much less chaotic than mine was🤗🫶✌️.

Saludos amiga!

I think its worst here, especially whenthes month end and people take long queue to collect salaries. I was lucky today because there is uncertainty in town as Separatists fighters called for lockdown.
Time indeed is money, but some people don't care infrindging into your rights and causing you to lost both time and the money. That was exactly what the police officer caused me to lost this day.
The commotion in town during this period in my country is someting else. But i'm glad I was able to sort out the first instalment fees and also buy books. At least I return home and, my kids were happy.
I appreciate your wishes for me.
So sorry about the occurrence, it's normal in humans life,a times when we embark on a journey,we thank God for such journey and handover everything into the hands of God.
But when challenges occur as such, it's seems God is not at work.
But it all about our behaviors at Work.
Some person's claims to be 100% knowledgeable when on their duty post.
It was a serious delay to you and it is a day experience.
So sorry about the happening.

Christians will say we "...we do not question God" hehehehehe
Thank you for the support.
You left home in the morning with a very nice and planned schedule. Although your schedule had to be changed a little due to traffic jams. But you wanted to cover this mismanagement by changing your plane a little. The most disappointing thing was the police hashel, which is certainly sad. Still, it was good to see that you were able to handle the situation patiently and return home safely. The children will definitely spend the next year happily with new books in new classes and friends.
They were so happy seeing the books and can't wait to be back in class and reunite with friends and wy not create new friends as well not knowing the frustration i went through during that day.
