Hello everyone in the Steemit family, I Welcome you all to my another episode of the diary game for today with yours truly @inyangibom. Today was pure joy. My fellow corps members and I in Oru West LGA, Imo State decided to take a break from PPA and CDS stress to have a picnic together. It was food, games, music, bonding, and plenty of laughter. This is exactly the kind of NYSC memory you keep forever.

Gathering and Settling In
We started the day by gathering under the veranda. Everyone came with food, drinks, and good vibes. Mats were spread on the floor and people were already gist-ing and catching up.

The energy was already high. You could see people charging phones, taking selfies, and planning the games for the day.

Games Time; Sack Race and Fun
After settling, we moved to the big field. The first game was sack race and it was hilarious 😂

People were falling, jumping, and cheering. The competition was serious but it was all love. Next was piggyback race and that one brought the loudest laughter.

Bonding, Dancing and Unity
After games, we formed a big circle and held hands. We prayed together and thanked God for life and for the opportunity to serve.

Music started playing and before we knew it, people were dancing.

That moment reminded me that NYSC is about unity in diversity. Different states, different tribes, but one spirit.

Food and Group Memories
Of course, no picnic is complete without food. We brought out our packed meals and drinks. Mine was rice with chicken and a cold bottle of Razzle. It tasted like heaven after all the running 😂

To end the day, we did a big group picture. Everyone gathered in front of the lodge building, smiling and posing.

Final Thoughts
Today taught me that we need to create time to rest and bond. Service year can be stressful, but moments like this make it worth it. The games, the food, the prayers, and the laughter, these are the memories I’ll carry after POP.

To my Oru West family, thank you for making today beautiful. Let’s keep the unity and keep making memories.
