The Diary Game; I Went To CDs And To The Market And I Made Dinner (08/09/2026)
Good evening my dearest readers, I welcome you all to another episode of how I spend my day. Grab a chair and some pop corns to enjoy the moment. First thing first, I woke up quiet early today, and I said my morning prayers, since I'm attending CDs only, I relaxed on my bed to get the sleep off , afterwards I took the broom and I swept my room and I mopped it also , immediately i was done cleaning my room, I headed to the bathroom to take my bath so I can attend cds.

Luckily for me the CDs meeting was Held in my compound (Nysc corpers lodge). With the way I was late, I was thankful to God that the meeting is holding in my compound, I was already calculating how I will go out to the tarred road and board a tricycle and get to my destination, when I got to the the meeting ground, there wasn't much people, it seemed corpers aren't smiling these days, it was unlike them to come late for CDs, when it was nine thirty, I asked the PRO. To start the meeting, we started with Nysc anthem and some announcement and the meeting began fully, but today's CDs meeting isn't the regular CDs meetings we do anchor, today's CDs meeting was tagged "games day " its mainly games and not more of lecturing, we played lots of games, we did the sip and guess the drink names and demonstration games, we did all these to spice up the CDs meetings, of lately the meetings has been boring and not fun at all.
The games went on and on, as I said earlier it was done to spice up the CDs meetings and put a smile on our fellow corpers face, while the game was on going, we distributed some of the drinks. The CDs meetings finally came to an end and we called the register, we took attendance and we took photos of everyone present to summit it to the supervisor for proper attendance, immediately the CDs meetings came to an end, we the EXCOs went to the Nysc sectariat to the supervisor,in order for us to summit the attendance and also discuss with him about our upcoming project for batch C, and we also discussed about our CDs outreach to the mother less babies home to show them love and give them hope.
On my way back from the Nysc sectariat, there's a corp member who sells , scarfs, earrings, necklace, leg chains, and more, I stopped by her place to patronise her, I sighted a silver bracelet at her place, I love it alot, although I bought earrings and a ring from my CDs member earlier on before going to the secretariat and then getting a bracelet from a corp member outside the lodge gate, I made payment for the bracelet and I went back inside, I took my bath to freshen up , and I arranged my clothings and I arranged the room and swept it again.
When I was done with the arrangement of my clothings, the arranging of the room, and sweeping, I took my dirty dishes to the kitchen and wash them, afterwards I took a nap, when I woked up, I got dressed up and I headed to the the matter to buy food stuff and some veggies for dinner, the market wasn't that far from me ,so I trekked to the market and also while coming back I trekked from the market too, I took my bucket outside to get some water for the cooking.
I fetched water for cooking, and I emptied the waste bin, I turned on the gas and I added two cups of water and I measured the rice, I washed the rice and when the was boiling I added the already washed rice into it, I washed the carrots I got and I took off the rough parts and chopped the carrots into small pieces, after per boiling and washing the rice,I add everything together and allow it to cook before adding the already diced carrots into the rice and I enjoyed my delicious meal.
Thank you for staying to the end of today's episode of how I spend my day, I hope to see y'all around tomorrow.

You've got a great post. Your post actually reminds me of my service year up North, Taraba state to be precise, it was a great year for me.
I commend you for your beautiful presentation however I have few recommendations.
Try to break your long write up into bits using paragraphs so your post doesn't look overwhelming for your reader.
Concerning your photos, kindly consider taking most of your shot in landscape, only take portraits where necessary and then give it a nice caption just below it.
Take note of these correction and recommendations to make your presentation even better.
Wow that's great, I'm from Taraba.
I really appreciate thank you very much for the advice, I will take note of it, at the Mon I'm finding it hard to write on steemit, it's saying I'm blocked, I can't write since yesterday 😩😩
Wao! What a coincidence, didn't know I'm actually having this conversation with someone form Taraba. I served in Donga LGA, where are you presently serving, or where in Taraba are you from.
As touching the issue you're having with posting, Can you take a screenshot, I guess your RC is low. If it persist till the end of the day, I might have to delegate a portion of my steem power to for say a week or two so you can create more post to build your account. Newbies experience what you're experiencing most times.
I'm from Karim lamido LGA, currently serving in plateau state. I was able to rectify it thank you very much sir
Wao! Karim Lamido. Well I didn't have the opportunity to visit that area while I was serving but I visited jalingo, Lao, Wukari and I think, Gassol (not so sure)... Rural rugged took me to some of these places.
I'm glad your steemit account is now up and running. #steem-on
Good evening I'm finding it hard to find my way around still, especially the use of markdowns and the captions aspect, it's the reason why I couldn't write about my day
