Bots respond with nonsense
A couple of weeks ago I started coming across absurd responses in the context of my posts, which makes me curious, because even though I know that sometimes curators vote on comments, I would believe that they do read the post to know which comments deserve to be rewarded.
Now, the next question is, what to do about users who leave meaningless comments on posts?
I know there’s the downvote, but I also know that a downvote can start a voting war. And my reputation is lower than that of those who leave incoherent comments.
Sometimes it saddens me to see that people try to find a shortcut to get rewards, even if they’re insignificant, which makes me doubt their integrity and ethics.
I started on Hive, where I discovered that there are too many injustices, privileged clans, and really corrupt people, who are also vengeful when confronted.
Has anything similar happened to you with your interactions on Steem? People who don’t read your posts and comment anything that doesn’t make sense or something similar...
Los bots responden tonterías
Hace un par de semanas me encuentro con respuestas absurdas en el contexto de mis publicaciones, lo cual me da curiosidad, porque aunque sé que algunas veces los curadores votan por comentarios, creería que sí leen la publicación para saber qué comentarios merecen ser recompensados.
Ahora, la siguiente pregunta es, ¿qué hacer ante usuarios que distribuyen comentarios sin sentido en las publicaciones?
Se que existe el voto negativo, pero también sé que un voto negativo puede iniciar una guerra de votos. Y mi reputación es menor a la de quienes dejan comentarios incoherentes.
A veces me entristece ver que la gente trata de encontrar un atajo para obtener recompensas, aunque sean insignificantes, lo cual me hace dudar de su integridad y ética.
Empecé en Hive, donde descubrí que hay demasiadas injusticias, clanes privilegiados y personas realmente corruptas, que además son vengativas cuando se las confronta.
¿Les ha pasado algo parecido a ustedes con sus interacciones en Steem? Personas que no leen sus publicaciones y comentan cualquier cosa que no tiene sentido o algo similar...
We all have them and the best thing you can do is MUTE, although I doubt these accounts are high ranked, active and a downvote war will be started.
This might be the case if whales leave AI generated comments, but I doubt this is the case.
We had the same and worse in 2024 where Steemcurators had several jobs and left AI generated comments or even let outsiders do their answering and voting.
Those scams are mainly accounts from the same three countries, no big fish but people who think they van generate a quick income this way.
Steemcurators reading before they vote? That is an illusion, they do not even anders the replies left.
Well, given the circumstances, it's best to keep "feigning dementia" lol.
In any case, it's always nice to read coherent comments like yours, because it shows that you do read before posting them.

It's my pleasure, and yes, I try to read as many as possible, although it takes time and isn't always easy or I lack time but I still believe every writer deserves to be read and receive a sign this was the case.
If it comes to "dementia" I would say in this case it isn't bad, although I prefer not see certain persons' bot names and responses any longer. I literally see exactly the same comments everywhere. Also the bot doesn't count to be read.

Imam happy to hear that and even if AI and bots try to replace us humans will always appreciate real humans even those saying they don't. So I hope we keep investing time and attention in another while creating.
