The Diary Game: Preparing Cat Fish Pepper Soup/ Rainy Day [11/09/2026]

Good day, guys and welcome to another episode of my diary session with yours truly, @megareigns and in today's episode, I want to share how my day went and I hope this adds even more colour to your already beautiful day.

This morning, I felt like eating catfish pepper soup, but I was tired, you know, something you have really been craving for. I had to muscle out my strength, I left the bed and then I went to the market to go and buy the fish. When I got to the market, I asked them to put the fish in a scale for me, they did and I paid for it then they slaughtered the fish and I brought it back home.

I came back to the house and I washed the fish. You know what we use to wash the fish? Very hot water so it won't have any bad scent. After I finished washing the fish, I began to prepare it. I was as well expecting my friend, so I needed to make sure I do it properly. She selects food big time. When I took it off the heat, I removed the head just to taste it and it was so wonderful.

When I finished taking that, I went to the bathroom and bath after washing the plates and utensils I used to prepare the fish. Fish do have this bad scent that if any utensil used in preparing it is not properly washed, it will scent really bad.

After I finished taking my bath, I took the fan that I bought some days ago to couple it. It's a solar inverter fan. The rainy season will be coming to an end very soon and the need to have a solar fan will be very imminent. I coupled it and tasted it. The solar panel really charged it. I was so happy. I contacted the supplier and told him I was going to make sure they have another buyer very soon.

When I finished with the fan, I took my laptop and began to work with it. The battery was low anyways but I was hoping it will take me for at least 30 minutes so that I will have something to do. But it switched off around 20 minutes into what I was doing. It was really painful. More painful that you will hustle money and pay for light and water bill and then nothing will be done to make it sustainable.

I went outside and charged the laptop. When I came back, I went straight to my bed to sleep. At a point, I got a call from one of my friends we are going into content creation with, I told him about the plans today and he came around, we talked about it and when he left, it began to rain seriously.

With the kind of breeze that accompanied the rain, I slept off like a little baby. That was another long nap I never planned of. Light issues made sleep that much today. When I stood up from there, I got my phone and began to promote the products. It was after I finished promoting the products that I went and collected my laptop.

On my way back from collecting my laptop at where I charged it, I saw my favourite white soup vendor. She was coming towards me and I waited for her to reach me then I asked her to sell a plate of white soup for me. She did and then she added two extra meats for me and told me that I have been consistently patronizing her.

When I came back to the house, I took my bath and then I bought fufu and used it to eat the white soup. It was so delicious. So, for my fish pepper soup, I warmed it and kept it because I was going to eat it tomorrow. After I finished doing that, I had to rest so I will have a class. And here I was, just resting for the evening.

As usual, I had a class with my students and they were informed. I warned them about copying posts and also, I told them to be original while creating their contents instead of trying to replicate what others are doing.
