The Diary Game: 22.08.2026 A Day of New Badminton Shoes and Evening Matches

I was at home this morning when I suddenly received a call from my elder brother. He told me that the badminton shoes we had ordered would be available today. He had ordered the shoes for me and another brother, so he asked me to be ready to collect them.

Around noon, he called me again and asked me to meet him at Station Side Park. I went there and met him. We had to wait for the delivery man for quite some time. While waiting for the delivery man, I spent some time chatting with some elder brothers.

After the delivery man arrived, I went with him to their warehouse because he had not brought the shoes with him. After reaching the warehouse, he handed over our shoes to me. Then he dropped me near the Loco Shed office.

From there, I walked home. While walking, I enjoyed the surroundings and the pleasant scenery along the road. After reaching home, I tried on the new shoes. Unfortunately, they felt quite tight, so I realized that I needed one size larger.

I informed my elder brother, who had placed the order. He told me not to worry and said that a larger size would be available. The afternoon was quite usual. I had lunch and took a nap. Later, I woke up and spent some time relaxing at home.

In the evening, I went for a walk with my father. We went to the railway station and walked around for a while. After walking for some time, I met one of my friends there. We decided to go to the badminton court together. Before going to the court, we stopped at a tea stall and had some tea while chatting.

After finishing our tea, we went to the indoor badminton court. To be honest, I was not really in the mood to play badminton that day. However, there were not enough players, so I had to play a few matches. Once I started playing, I enjoyed the games.

We finished playing quite late, so I returned home late at night. Overall, the day was not extremely busy, but I enjoyed the different activities. Getting the new badminton shoes, spending time with my father, meeting my friend, and playing badminton made the day quite enjoyable.

The color combination of your badminton shoes is great. I was surprised and happy to know that you two waited for the delivery man because now most people keep the delivery man waiting and do not consider the time to take the order. There are also some examples where the receiver turns off his phone after 2-3 hours of making the delivery man wait. These are very inhumane acts. I am saddened to know that the shoe size is small. I really like the colour of the shoes. Actually, I don’t know much about the shop, as it doesn’t have a Facebook page. My familiar elder brother, who plays badminton very well, ordered them for me because he knows which shop sells good badminton shoes. However, I don’t know the exact location of the shop. A pair one size bigger is on the way, and I hope it will fit me.
I try to respect the delivery man and follow his instructions so that he doesn’t face any hassle.
You are right, it is difficult to play badminton in this heat. Actually, there are three fans in the indoor court. After playing a few matches, we take a rest, and those fans really help cool our bodies. Otherwise, it would be quite difficult to play badminton in this weather.
