Hello friends and family members accept warm greetings from this end of globe .Today is Sunday a day of worship and praise. We have been home indoors lockdown imposed by separatist fighters . Due to to the socio-political crisis in my country in the north west and south west region.
Power tussle between the government and the separatists fighters for 9years now .The government has refused to satisfy their demands .This has cause death, kidnapping, lost of property and people displaced to safer places.
Today, we were to go out and buy food then from 15th with continued with another lockdown for one week till the 21st of September. All these is imposed by separatist to disturb school resumption for new academic year .That already started on the 7th September put by the government.
Today my colleague and a friend invited me for his brothers memorial service .Also I decided to go to the market and buy and buy some foodstuffs for the house in preparation for one week lockdown again.
On my way to my friend late brothers memorial ceremony.Places were very tense and cause a lot of panic as shops were not opened. While in the taxi there was gunshots but I managed to reached at my friends place for memorial service.
While there the church service was already over and people were coming home now for reception. They was enough foods and drinks .People came with drinks to celebrate with them .I had to give my friend but the little money her .
It was not easy as we started receiving bad news coming from area in my locality .People kidnapped by separatists fighters and short to death .At this moment we were confuse what they really want because no body can understand. How civilians have become their target .
When I heard the it was hard for me to eat or drink . Wandering what Cameroon has turned into . I couldnt spent as everywhere was tense . I left from my friends compound for memorial service straight to the market in fear . The market was very dry and cause a lot of panic and fear in people as they was gunshots.
I bought fruits and few things . Places were very scary .I had to immediately take a taxi back to my destination. On my way places were very scary shops closed and military everywhere in town. The streets like ghost when I arrived home I was relieved.
The day was not a good one full of pains , bad news and scary moments . The crisis has turned our environment into a different level. Each day comes with uncertainty what the future holds. Please you people should put our country Cameroon in prayers .

I felt truly distressed reading about your experience; it was certainly not a good day for you in any respect. A situation of war or conflict is never desirable for any country. It disrupts the normal lives of ordinary people while causing immense damage to national resources and human lives. You had gone to the market to secure food supplies for the coming week due to the lockdown, but the entire situation had come to a standstill as shops were closed and the sound of gunfire echoed around you. Ultimately, you managed to purchase a few essentials and return home quickly. However, the most important thing is that you made it back safely for that, Alhamdulillah, I offer my gratitude to the Almighty.
Hello friend we are experiencing difficult moments now in my country .This have been for the past 9years but this time around is the worst . Everyone is uncertain about tomorrow.Terrible happenings around , we have put everything in God’s hands .Everyday comes with uncertainty,we pray peace should reign back . #s34engagement
May God watch over all of you there—what anguish, what a tense situation for the people. You took a risk by going out to support your friend in such a sad situation; it’s admirable, but you have to take care of yourself—don’t put yourself in danger.
I see the images from the market, I read about the gunfire, and I feel afraid—you in the taxi—thank God you took it; I can only imagine how you must feel. Please take very good care of yourselves over there.
