STEEM4SNAKE 🐍CONTEST

In my opinion, one of the sweetest memories of our childhood is playing Snake on the small screens of Nokia button phones. The exciting game of slowly growing that small snake on a black-and-white or slightly colored screen was our main source of entertainment. Even today, when I think about how much fun and competition there was when chatting with friends about who could score the highest, it makes my heart feel good.

We have come a long way in today's era of touchscreen and high-graphics games, but for me, the pure joy of pressing the button on a button phone is completely different. When I came across the STEEM4SNAKE contest organized by @nevlu123 on the Steemit platform, it felt like those old days came back to life. I think the idea behind bringing this classic game back to the blockchain in such a wonderful way is really commendable.

Today, I selected a 3-minute time limit with my own Steemit ID @sumon247 and started playing the game. Below is a description of my experience of that game and the score I achieved.

Even though I was used to playing with a mouse or touchscreen on my PC, the 3-minute time limit created a nice nervousness throughout the game. As time passed quickly, I was afraid that if I made a mistake in the blink of an eye, the game would be over.

However, I found it quite difficult to control the snake while keeping my eyes on the screen and taking screenshots at the right time throughout the game. My attention was diverted a bit during the game while taking screenshots, and I had to slow down the snake's speed. In my opinion, if I didn't have this hassle of taking screenshots repeatedly during the game, I could have kept 100% focus on the gameplay, and my points might have been a little higher!

Nevertheless, I enjoyed every second of the entire 3 minutes. In the end, I managed to collect 1769 (length: 1769) points and earned 2 snake coins as a reward. Later, I went to the dashboard and saw that I was ranked 6th on the Global Matrix Leaderboard, which was really nice to see.

General Review and My Feelings

This game is brought to us in collaboration with SteemOne and @friends.witness. I think a quick 3-minute match is enough to make you feel better in the blink of an eye after a long day of mental exertion. This reunion of the classic Snake game is really special to me.
