Digital portrait painting - Under the magical water

Hello everyone how are you all today? I hope everyone is having a great day.
I made this drawing a long time ago, but fortunately i still had the process shots of this.
I learned a few new things that i applied to this drawing like use blocks of color and then using gaussian blur to blur them like i did it with the face and the hair.

let me know your thoughts on this drawing.

here are some process shots and i will also describe the process a bit.
Like any good drawing i start with a rough sketch, i draw portraits with the circle divided in three methods, gives you an ideal face ratio. Honestly, they don't always turn out good specially if they are in difficult positions that i haven't mastered yet. head tilted upwards is always a difficult angle to draw. i also put in some clean lineart on this, this is not something i usually do.
But i loved how this sketch was coming out. after the sketch comes the coloring part. i used a lot of layers for this drawing because i wanted a clean result. Most of the time i try to keep the layers as low as possible because its gets difficult and frustrating to manage too many layers. it did get a bit frustrated for this drawing because i still didn't know how to properly manage the workflow.
then comes the light and shadow layers that i eventually merge with the original layers. i like drawing eyes and so i take my time with it.
do you know the fun part is? adding the highlights. i absolutely love doing that part.

at end a fitting background and the water droplets that were also quite hard to draw but i also enjoyed it a little bit.
