inktober 2026 . 14 lady is reading a book
Hello everyone. Today's theme is "The Lady," and for this occasion, I am depicting an elegant lady sitting at a table, reading a book while enjoying a cup of warm tea.
- The drawing process uses only a single sheet of paper and a black pen.
- In the initial stage, we create a rough sketch.
- Next, we refine the initial sketch by adding more detail to the drawing of the lady.
- Next, we add shading to the figure of the lady, and fill in the arm with circular scribbles.
- This is the final result.

I wonder if you also make comics. Those with three pictures. I like your drawings. You have a style of your own. For a moment I thought she makes a phonecall too.

There are no comics at the moment because I can't create a story, so I've never made one.
Enjoying the process is what matters.
Wow! Your black and white lady drawing is great. How attentively the girl is reading a book in your art. I am really impressed by how beautifully you have presented your skills to us with the help of some simple strokes. I am not good at this kind of art but I really want to learn it. If I get time in the future, I will definitely try to follow your step-by-step description. Best wishes to you in the competition.
Thank you for the support, and keep up the spirit.
It feels so calm, like you caught her in her own little world. Really beautiful work.
:) Such a beautiful lady—thank you for your support.
