Digital portrait painting- girl with green hair and a mixer of colors

Hello everyone, how are you all today? i hope everyone is having a great day. Today i am sharing another one of my most favorite drawing that i have made a long time ago. i liked this one for the amazing color palette and the clean style(specially for the face).

let me know your thoughts about this drawing.

Lets talk about the process of this drawing.

I was experimenting with this new wobbly brush at that time and it was super fun to do quick sketches with that brush and which is what i used to create the first sketch. you can see that the sketch lines have some ridge or wobbles in them which made it fun to draw with it.

after the messy sketch i sort of did a clean sketch on top of it. but not too clean because when a messy lineart is beneath it make the drawing feel more organic and makes me want to draw. i started coloring using that very brush even though it had a bit of opacity issue but later i just copied layers and merged to fill any gaps.

it wasn't my intention to have a white gap in the hair but it was a happy accident and it looked kind of good so i kept it. it sort of served as a highlighted part of the hair.

i spent a bit longer on the eyes because i just got carried away with it. and then i fixed everything else and finished the drawing like how i always do.

At the end i did some color tweaking to make it more vibrant so it feels like the drawing is popping out of the canvas.

i used an ipad 9th gen with procreate and apple pencil to make this drawing.
