Rohim Tea Store, Betuya, Dagonbhuiyan.
Inside The Shop
Dear friends, I hope you are all doing well. Today, I am sharing information about another shop with you. It is a tea stall that also sells a variety of food items. The shop is called 'Rahim Tea Store'; however, it is worth noting that there is no signboard outside. As I have mentioned in previous posts, most shops in rural Bangladesh do not have signboards—they operate without one, and the shop is simply known by the name of its owner.

This shop is located in Betua village—within one of the upazilas of Feni district—right next to the Betua Mosque. Situated by the roadside, the shop is owned by a man named Rahim; it is known to everyone as "Rahim Store." The services offered here include selling tea, as well as various other items such as chanachur (savory snacks), chocolates, and a range of products for children.

A while ago, I visited this shop at night and had some tea there. The owner is an acquaintance of mine, so I spent quite some time chatting with him. Through this post, I am sharing information about the shop with you, and you will be able to learn more details about it here.

This is a village shop. It does not stock a wide variety of goods, as it primarily serves the local village residents. In almost every village in Bangladesh, one can find small shops that sell various food items. Typically, the owners manage these shops themselves; since the number of customers in a village is relatively low, there is no need for additional staff. Please let me know what you think of this post. Thank you all for reading take care!

It is always fascinating to learn about the ways in which a small establishment which happens to be a tea shop that could actually address the various social and material needs of the community. I appreciate this particular shop because it provides not only tea but also chips, various sweets and nuts that may be used as a convenient and affordable treat for a busy everyday life. The fact that one can enjoy a cup of tea or a packet of chips for only 10 taka makes this place even more special. Moreover, your ability to come to this lovely place at night and have a chat with the owner made me connect to this reading more closely to understand that being able to free our minds by just setting with an acquaintance helps relief stress and anxiety over some tea or cup of coffee.
I find that such small shops become the center of a community because they address not only material needs but also serve as a meeting point for friendly conversations. Thank you for bringing this place to my attention!, I'm really glad that the owner takes pleasure in servicing the minimum buyers and trust me my friend I think that your post is excellent.
