Dear friends, I hope you are all doing well. Alhamdulillah, by Allah's endless mercy, I am also doing very well. Today, I will share with you about a museum that is located in our northern region of Bangladesh, in the Naogaon district. Within that Naogaon district, there is a place called Paharpur Buddhist Monastery. At the site of this Paharpur Buddhist Monastery, there is a small museum, and this is the museum I am going to talk about.

To visit this museum, you must first come to Naogaon District, no matter where you are coming from, you can easily reach Naogaon District even from anywhere in Bangladesh. After that, you will go to Paharpur in Bodhibihar. Once you get there, you will enter through the gate, and the museum is actually located inside a park, that is, within the Buddhist hill. When you go there, you will naturally be able to see the museum, and it will introduce itself to you in various ways.

The rule of this museum is that if you enter the museum, you have to buy a separate ticket first, meaning the ticket you used to enter this park won't work. Instead, you have to buy a separate ticket for this museum. Okay, I’ll cry, but when I asked if I could take photos or videos inside, they said there’s no way you can do that. So, when it comes to reviewing, I should tell you that if you come inside to take pictures, it’s not allowed here, so keep that in mind beforehand. Anyway, as much as I could, I took pictures around the museum.

This museum is located in a place surrounded by a natural environment with lots of trees and grass. You will enjoy walking through them, and you can come here to walk and chat, bringing your loved ones along. There’s no problem moving around the museum because even though there’s a boundary around it, entering through the gate is very easy. And this is really nice because inside there are places to sit and a beautiful natural setting.

Let me tell you a little history about this museum. It was established in 1985, that is, it came into existence when this place was operating as a Buddhist monastery. At that time, it was not only prominent in Bangladesh but also in the Asian continent, and it held great heritage. To preserve this rich heritage, various items were kept in the museum, which is why this museum was created here. Essentially, the things that belonged to the earlier Buddhist monastery are kept here.

What I would say to express my personal opinion is that when I went here, it was on July 6th. Basically, the purpose of going here was that I would do a review, and at the same time, see this heritage site with my own eyes. This is the place I had read about in books since childhood and heard stories about from various relatives and elders. Because of that, I was very eager and it was important for me to come here.
