Last holiday, my family and I had a wonderful trip to Sidamanik, Simalungun, North Sumatra. It was a simple family trip, but we enjoyed every moment of it.

Our first destination was Dahmanik Naturan Pond. We spent some time there enjoying the fresh water and the beautiful natural atmosphere. The place was quite refreshing, especially after spending time on the road. We laughed, talked, and enjoyed our time together as a family.

After visiting Dahmanik, we continued our trip to the famous Sidamanik Tea Plantation. The green tea fields were beautiful. The fresh air, cool weather, and green scenery made us feel relaxed. For me, visiting a tea plantation is always special because it gives us a chance to enjoy nature and escape from the busy city for a while.

After enjoying the tea plantation, it was already time for Ashar prayer. Before going back to Medan, we stopped at Masjid Raya Nurul Islam in Sarimatontang, Sidamanik.

The mosque immediately caught my attention because of its beautiful blue and white design. The main dome has a unique pattern, and the mosque also has several beautiful towers. From the outside, the building looks very attractive and clean.

We entered the mosque and prepared for Ashar prayer. After spending time traveling and enjoying nature, praying in a peaceful mosque gave us a different kind of feeling. It was a quiet moment to rest, pray, and be thankful for the beautiful journey we had that day.

I also took some photos of the mosque because I really liked its architecture. The combination of blue, white, and the unique dome makes Masjid Raya Nurul Islam easy to remember.

For me, this mosque was not only a place to pray. It became a beautiful part of our family journey in Sidamanik.

After Ashar prayer, we continued our trip back to Medan. We were tired, but happy.

Sometimes, the best memories from a holiday are not only about the destinations we plan to visit, but also about the beautiful places we discover along the way.
Thank you, Sidamanik, for the beautiful memories. Until our next trip
