Last holiday, I and Aermi friends visited Jodd Fairs Market in Bangkok, one of the famous night markets in Thailand. I had heard many stories about this place, especially about its food, nightlife, and crowded atmosphere. So, when I had the chance to visit, I decided to experience it myself.

The first thing I noticed was how crowded and busy the market was. There were so many people walking around, looking at food, shopping, taking pictures, and enjoying the night. The lights, music, food stalls, and people created a very lively atmosphere.

However, to be honest, this place was not very comfortable for me. I personally did not really enjoy the atmosphere. Maybe it is because I prefer places that are quieter and more relaxed. At Jodd Fairs, everything felt very busy and crowded, especially at night.

For me, this visit was more about experiencing and understanding a different place than finding my favorite destination.

Another important thing for me as a Muslim traveler was the food. There were many different kinds of food available, but most of them were not suitable for me because they were not halal. I had to be very careful when choosing what to eat. For me, fruits were one of the safer choices. And of course, Thailand is famous for its delicious durian.

Even though I did not really enjoy the place, I think Jodd Fairs Market is still an interesting place to visit, especially if you like busy night markets, street food, shopping, and experiencing the local nightlife.

Would I visit Jodd Fairs again? Probably not. But I am still happy that I visited once. Sometimes, traveling is not only about visiting places we love. It is also about discovering places that are simply not our kind of place.

Overall, Jodd Fairs Market is very lively, crowded, and full of energy. But for a Muslim traveler who prefers a more comfortable and halal-friendly environment, I think you need to plan carefully before visiting.
