Monday—Monday! 😁……......North Cascade Wanderings
Happy Monday all!
I’ve written about the Japanese Maple Trees in the yard before, but if possible, they’ve changed color and become even more brilliant than they were 2-3 weeks ago!
Actually, driving around and running errands as we did today, the color up on the mountains is more brilliant than usual and is still hanging on despite it’s early season this year.
The leaves on the ground are beautiful in their own right!
The morning began with a dip in the hot tub. It was quite cool outside, but the water was a lovely 103 degrees! I usually don’t like it quite that hot, but after the initial shock of it, it was quite nice!
Afterwards, we headed to town for some items @silvertop needed.
Darkness is descending early as expected with the time change. Morning light is needed for our body clocks, so plan your evenings with your favorite person, or if they’re unavailable, your favorite pet, a coffee and a book with a fire if you have a wood stove or fireplace, and embrace the security and warmth of it all. Sounds like a plan!
