It’s Caturday! 😸……….…..North Cascade Wanderings
Happy Caturday y’all! Give your kitties some much deserved love today! 😻
To Cot and Cyle, every day is Caturday! 😁😸
I slept in as usual for a Caturday. I’m always wiped after my workweek. It’s not physical but it is mentally draining. Sleep is a good way to let go of it.
@silvertop needed a couple electrical parts, so we headed to the Home Depot in order to purchase. Ironically though, I did some comparison shopping on Amazon while there for the same item and found a better one for about $4 less. All was not lost however as I got another amaryllis bulb. These bulbs are unique—I’ll do a post soon on them.
Then we headed to the mall. I’ve been on a mission for some Twisted Peppermint from Bath & Body Works. On the way in through Kohl’s, I found the baby Grinch!
Most stores have more Christmas than Halloween or fall decorations. Just blink!- and the Christmas season will be here! 🎄🎄🎄
I got all of the Twisted Peppermint I wanted, so we headed to Walmart and then Starbucks for some refreshments; then to Dollar Tree and home. On the way home, I got a text from Jan. She’d been ‘yard sale-ing’ and had gotten something for me. We weren’t home, so she left it on our delivery box we have by our mailbox. The item was this…….
….a metal rooster. I’d been wanting one but most metal work is pricey, so I’d stopped looking. This one has some rust, but I figure that just adds character! I placed it outside near some pumpkins in a semi-protected area. 🐓. That was thoughtful of her! 😊
A fire in the wood stove has been lit and we will soon enjoy some French fries that are not cooked in seed oil. We found them at a store we don’t frequent, so if they’re as good as we are hoping they are, they may get our business for more in the future.
Here’s a couple more Caturday pics of the boys.
Cot’s got the right idea—it’ll soon be time for bed.
My steps today:
That’s gonna be it for now. Take care and enjoy the rest of your day wherever you are! 🙏🌏🙏

BSB Psalm 100:1-5
Make a joyful noise to the LORD,
all the earth.
Serve the LORD with gladness;
come into His presence with joyful songs.
Know that the LORD is God.
It is He who made us, and we are His;
we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture.
Enter His gates with thanksgiving
and His courts with praise;
give thanks to Him and bless His name.
For the LORD is good,
and His loving devotion endures forever;
His faithfulness continues to all generations.
