Does Dread Help Us Or Break Us?

I wasn’t looking for anything deep last night.
I was just scrolling.

Then I read a post.
About a room. About a dying wick. About dread being a messenger, not an enemy.
About living in the space between two thoughts.

I had to read it twice.
It was heavy.
But it made sense.

The writer @newton666 said he dwells in that place on purpose. That fear strips the masks off. That joy hides, but dread reveals.
And I sat there thinking: I don’t know if I could live there like he does.

But I respect it.
Because most people run from that chill at the back of their head.
He sits with it. He writes from it.

So I asked him one question in my head before I even commented:
Does it ever get too much?
Or is that the only place where things finally make sense?

I don’t live in his world.
But his words followed me to bed.
And this morning the room felt different.
Like someone left a door open on purpose.

I don’t have answers.
I just have questions.
And I think that’s the point..

It was real.
It was different.
And I haven’t stopped thinking about it since.
