That Status Hit Me
Today a friend posted "wow, they said men don't cry" on his WhatsApp status. Lately all his posts have been emotional. I messaged him right away to check on him. I get it because I have been there too. Sometimes men hurt quietly. I told him I’m here for him. We all need someone who listens.

Sadness and depression does not discriminate. Even animals can be emotionally sad. And sometimes all someone needs is a listening ear. No matter how tough a person may seem to be, there will be times they need a crying shoulder. Hope your friend finds comfort in you.

We kept chatting and he was telling me how tired he is of life
Honestly at some point in our lives, we felt that way
I let him know he wasn't alone, I know how much I have cried in secret too

I am a very emotional person; even movies make me cry, and sometimes even the lyrics of certain songs.
