Lol... Prompt
When I started signing up for my socials, I was not really familiar with some of the abbreviations. Things like Lol, lolz, mtchew were strange to me.
I had to ask some of my friends for the meaning of the abbreviated words.
They were surprised that I asked.
These were common words that everyone used, but I simply did not know what it means.
I played along when people use it in our chat.
It was easy to play along using the context of our discussion, I only wanted to be sure, that was why I asked.
Soon enough, I knew the meaning.
But I prefer spelling out my words properly, so I barely use abbreviations.
I prefer using emojis, they express my feelings more.
The way I see it, people use lol to evade the truth and they are not really laughing in reality.
This is why I don't believe people who send me lol.
You would know if someone is having a laugh.
It's been a while I have seen lol, or maybe it is me.
But I think these things are going out of use.

I am here with you. I do not like this way of texting or talking.
One can never be sure about the meaning plus the meaning, same for emojis, depends on the country you live.
True.
I have been able to correct my friends to use words properly when talking to me. I barely have a user who abbreviates when texting me, except it is a stranger.
Except for one person, no one uses it with me and if comes to that person I know she only does if she lies and hides the truth or at least believes I am too stupid to see right through her.
No one sends SMS texts with us, so those once published SMS dictionaries became useless the same counts for those booklets with emojis which the EU government wants to forbid claiming there are hidden messages behind them.
They know how to kill the little (confusing) joy in life.
A great day!
A good feedback.
Thanks.
