Shelter, Poor pussycat, Pakistan

She was an innocent and forgetful cat who was sitting on the side of the road due to weakness. Her weakness was so great that she could not even walk away. The cat was pregnant and was about to have a baby, but she had not found anything to eat, which is why she was lying on one side. When my niece passed by and saw the cat in this state, she could not let go of it and picked her up and brought her home.

After bringing her home, she first fed the cat with milk, then when she regained some strength, she gave her a piece of meat to eat, but after drinking the milk, she did not have enough strength to eat raw meat. She was trying, but she was not eating. My niece did not see it, so she brought a piece of meat from the home-cooked curry and placed it in front of her, which the cat ate easily and looked at her with a sense of gratitude. The cat was looking grateful in every way and she was hugging my niece's feet. My niece felt sorry for her and decided to take permission from her mother to keep the cat in her house. This was a very important decision because the kittens were going to be born and in the future she would have to take care of not only the cat but also her babies. But since both mother and daughter had decided to take care of the cat, her babies also came under her care automatically. It had been some time since the cat had two babies, but by God's grace, one of the babies was very weak and died in two days.

Now the cat had only one baby left and that one was exactly like its mother. Both the cat and the baby lived together all the time. My niece could not bear to feed them and sleep with them. By keeping the cat with her all the time, the cat had become so familiar with her niece that she would go to any corner of the house and the cat would find it and stay with it. My niece had learned all about her cat's behavior and when to give it something, the cat would be happy. I was very surprised. This happened because I have seen most people feed their own food to their animals, but my niece not only fed the cat cat food, but also fed it homemade items. Sometimes she would boil eggs and sometimes she would cook meat.

The situation now is that both mother and kitten are the apple of everyone's eye—children and adults alike. Every child loves to cuddle the kitten, and since it has been accustomed to being affectionate with everyone, it readily goes to anyone.

He, too, is happy living among humans. He goes to sleep right where a human sleeps—that is, on our pillow.

Everyone finds both the cat and her kitten absolutely adorable, and the cat seems well aware of this; that is why she has mingled with humans as if she had always lived among them. When someone is getting ready, she stands beside them in front of the mirror, gazing at her own reflection. Similarly, her kitten wanders into all the same places where human children go to play and get up to mischief.
