Tuesday Bad translation, I hurt someone with my translation, Pakistan

A very unfortunate incident occurred between us recently—one that was not intentional. I had no desire to hurt anyone's feelings, especially given how sensitive a person can be about their mother; after all, everyone's mother is truly magnificent.
I commented on a post by a fellow Steemit member, but I realized that due to a translation error, my comment was interpreted in a way that hurt their feelings. It was a truly unfortunate action on my part—one that still makes me feel ashamed today—and I sincerely apologize to my fellow member for having caused them pain and distress.
I made that comment simply because two different individuals had written identical posts; naturally, I was surprised, assuming it was the same person posting under two names and—true to habit—using the same style for both. However, upon commenting, I discovered they were indeed two different people; yet, because they share such a close friendship, they feel no hesitation in copying one another. Somehow, the conversation within that comment veered toward their mother, and I said something that caused offense. To this day, I seek their forgiveness for having hurt their feelings.
Later, another colleague helped me realize that my initial understanding was based on a translation error; my first colleague had never actually intended to convey what I had thought. It made me realize that sometimes, the choice of words during translation can alter the intended meaning. However, given that we come from diverse linguistic backgrounds, we have to rely on English to communicate with one another—and while the translation is sometimes accurate, at other times, the meaning gets distorted.
