Gangly
A gangly gray cat appeared from behind just as the lady picked up Biscuit. Almost immediately, Biscuit started scrambling away, as though he was trying to hide from the gray cat. He jumped towards Ray and let out a series of soft meows, as if he were afraid of the gray cat.
The gray cat stared at Biscuit hostilely and let out a loud meow, almost as though he was scolding him.
The lady quickly shooed the gray cat away. "No, Ash, hush!"
Ray walked back into the garden with Biscuit in his arms. Biscuit clung tightly to him, and Ray could feel him trembling.
"Sorry. Ash is Biscuit's cousin, and he hasn't been very kind to him since Biscuit was born," the lady explained.
Ray thought to himself that this was probably how Biscuit had ended up in the drain.
The lady introduced herself as Kensha and went on to explain that Biscuit's mother had died the previous week after being mauled by stray dogs in a nearby street. It was a miracle that Biscuit had ended up safe in Ray's hands.
Seeing how attached Biscuit had become to Ray, Kensha asked if Ray would help look after him for the time being.
Ray was more than willing to help. As Biscuit curled up comfortably in his arms, it already felt as though he had found a new friend.

Inktober #16: Gangly
Ray - Previous chapter: Hooray

I can not help but I feel for the grey cat! 😭
Why shu him away? If he is gangly, he is hungry.
Gray cat, Ash was being hostile to Biscuit, more like shoo him quiet. Not shoo him away hehe. He is okay, the lady is on his side and passed Biscuit to Ray to take care so that Ash don't get upset and Biscuit don't get bullied.

I often this problem. Rhinitis. But it's not from pets. Not sure what triggers it
Ooo dust? Pollen? Both of these are triggers for me too. I end up carrying antihistamine with me all the time.

Not sure what's the trigger. Everything changed and everything the same, still can't pinpoint it. The other day the ENT mentioned may have to go for surgery. But when I came home and think about it, mine starts with my eyes and the surgery is for the nose, I think. Coz there's something to cut and stitch there, not my eyes though.
I'm on anti-histamine too.
Hmmm.. ENT are all connected. I have had friends who went for surgery to fix their sinus. Could it be that? Or ask for a 2nd opinion? Allergy sickness is tiring kan? Cos we can't pinpoint what it is that triggers and can only guess. I did some of the allergy tests many years ago, thats how I found that I was allergic to animal dander and dust. But for medication, you will only know if you try them.
I didn't tell you during my work trip to Makuhari, for the 2 weeks I was there, 1 week was spent in the hotel because I kena allergy. First, it was allergy to something in the air, not sure dust or pollen or what, I started having a bad flu at work. My work mate brought me to their clinic there and the doc gave some medication which I was allergic to and caused my eyes to super swell. Took a week to subside, and then only I could continue to work. Luckily it was a nice hotel hahaha.

Yeah, it's all connected. Does the surgery worked for your friend? Did she know what causes it? I always thought I was the unlucky one that didn't know what causes mine.
Dust? Then how about housework? Laundry has dust too.
Some people would have their flare up according to the season because of the pollen/hay.
Not only you had flu, you had medication allergic too, poor thing. So now you can add that med to the list.
I think mine started in secondary school. I would suddenly have terrible runny nose and sneezing spell where I would need rolls of toilet paper, it was cheaper. Then later it spread to my eyes too. The itchiness would be so unbearable and I would rub my eyes until the whites bengkak.
Now it's the other way round, the eyes come first.
I had 2 friends with the surgery. I think it kinda work but not entirely because I see them still sniffing and all. But not bad as last time. One of them has asthma too, so it kinda helped a little. I didn't ask what was fixed but both said it was to clear the sinus.
Ah yes everywhere has dust. I seem to be okay when dust are settled, not disturbed. So if there is a layer of dust on furnitures, etc, I am okay but the moment I start wiping and dust starts flying, my nose would start to trigger. Laundry is okay so far, touch wood.
Yah.. am allergic to all meds that has ibuprofen and paracetamol. Ooo, I used to rub my eyes till the whites bengkak too until I discovered antihistamine.. The moment I feel that, I pop in 1 tablet and the itch would slowly subside.
