Getting Higher in Steem Hop

I decided to take a while to re-dive back into Steem Hop, which is the one-button game where dodging busy traffic, jumping across logs, and getting the right timing for each one of your jumps are key to winning. On the surface it looks like a simple one button, one player, arcade style game where after a few moments of play your speed has gone through the roof and every single one of your mistakes gives your run an end.

The concept of this one button game, while very simple, is also the one factor that makes the game totally addictive. All the while having quick fingers you are playing with a bit character across the street,trains, and then onto the river with the logs that each move with a good amount of speed. When trying to beat your high-score you will find that one little mistake that you make will cause your game to end, which really makes it about getting good with the quick times. Once I got done running I was also able to spin the wheel once since it is a special feature which I earned a whopping 55 additional points out of this.

Then, after a great run, I get to see how I compare to the worldwide results where I am currently at 14 th place under the username entity01. I am currently at Level 8 and have earned 1,343.00 total points. I have earned 3 STEEM and would say that it took good dedication to get this far on the worldwide leaderboard. Especially, when the guys in the top ten are at Level 12 and have over 3,000-4,000 total points.

I believe that getting in the top 15 was an accomplishment for me, although sticking here will require constant practice. Mastering this game takes precision with your timing, knowing all of the patterns of speed, and having the bonus spins fall to your side for that extra boost of points, in the main mode where my new objective is to pass Level 8, getting better with all my movement with the faster courses, and making into the top ten of the worldwide leaderboard as well.
