I finally decided to give Steem Ludo a shot today and jumped into the Ludo Snake game first to see how it worked. Since I had seen promos for this floating around for a while that provided STEEM and upvotes on steemX just for posting gameplay, I thought I'd give it a test run.

It has a pretty simple interface with the main page just offering login rewards every day with tokens, a dice boost, and a Ruby dice if you login for seven days in a row. Once logged in, there are a handful of game modes like 2 v 2 tournaments, private tables, quick games, and the Ludo Snake game I jumped into. It's basically a computer version of Snakes and Ladders with the dice rolls.

I quickly paired up with a bot (@ludosnakebot) to get a good feel for the mechanics of the game. The game table is similar to other Ludo games with an 80 space graph with snakes and ladders. In the end, I hit the roof towards the end of the board while the bot battled up near 75. It just comes down to a little of both luck with the dice and which ladders you can hit to skip ahead while avoiding the snakes on the way.

Luck was on my side in the end though and I made my way up ahead of the bot and hit 80 first for a win at 47 rolls versus 45 for the bot to 55. That was a pretty good feeling for the first game. It's a really quick game to play with some built in time passing on the main page and main lobbies with multiple game types. I'll be back at it again later this afternoon to see how I do against real players in the main Ludo lobbies.

Thanks for reading my post .
