Hello friends, how are you all? I hope you are doing well. Today, I’m sharing a short post that includes a brief video and several photos. I spent some time this afternoon by a small pond in our yard—a pond surrounded by a thick growth of grass. I decided to set up my fishing gear there.
I arrived at the pond around 2:00 PM and spent some time clearing away the grass, as I needed an open space to fish. Once I had cleared a spot, I scattered some bait to attract the fish. Since it had been a very sunny and hot day, I couldn't stay out in the heat for long, so I planned to return later in the afternoon. I came back around 5:00 PM, just as the sun was beginning to set—the perfect time for fishing.
I set my line and used high-quality bait to draw the fish in. I had a feeling that koi (climbing perch) would be the most likely catch here. With a prayer in my heart, I sat down to fish. Before long, I noticed that the koi had started to bite, and I managed to catch them one by one. As you can see, I was able to catch some native koi fish. I’ve included a short video and a few photos of the experience. All in all, I spent a pleasant amount of time there and, in the end, managed to catch several koi fish.
