Hello Steemians, the previous RAID has finally come to an end, and that means it is time to begin another exciting battle with a new monster.

This time, the new RAID introduced Salamander, and I was ready to start another journey of summons, cards, points, and hopefully a better position on the leaderboard.

I started the new raid facing 10 players, so I knew from the beginning that every summon could make a difference.

Meeting Salamander

As the new RAID began, I came across the new monster, Salamander. It happened that the new monster really differs from Ephyra in the previous raid, seeing that salamander looks more scary got me thinking that we are fighting a much harder monster.

I knew within myself that they was no time to waste, so I started my first summon as soon as possible.

My First Summon

For my first summon in this new RAID, I discovered two Dark common cards and one Light common card.

It wasn't exactly the combination I was expecting for the beginning of a new raid, but I was still happy to get started. Since this was only my first summon, I was hoping the next ones would bring something more exciting.

The Second Summon

I then went ahead with my second summon, and this one brought a much bigger surprise.

I discovered a Legendary Fire card, a Common Light card, and a Common Leaf card.

Seeing a Legendary card during the second summon made me excited. After all, starting a completely new RAID with a Legendary card was something I couldn't ignore.

I was now curious to see what my third summon would bring.

My Third Summon

I made my third summon, and this time I discovered, Epic Dark card, Common Water card and Common Dark card.

Getting an Epic Dark card was another interesting result. At this point, I had completed my first three summons against Salamander, but I wasn't finished yet.

After successfully making three summons, I went back to the lobby to check the quest that I might have completed. I was able to complete some quests after those summon and claim 48 points. Those points were really important because it would help me a lot as I made use of the points I had to purchase 2 summon ticket.

After claiming the points, I checked the leaderboard and found myself as the 10th user out of the 11 users that are playing in this new RAID. There was still plenty of time to move up. So I bought two more summon tickets.

My next summon gave me a very interesting set of cards which happened to be an epic dark card, epic water card and common light card.

Getting two Epic cards in the same summon was a really good surprise for me. I was happy with the result and hoped the next summon would be just as exciting. I then made the other summon and discovered a rare dark card, rare water card, and common water card.

I then went back to check the lobby and successfully checked the leaderboard again and yes it was really nice to move from 10th place to 7th place after all those summon.

That was a good way to begin a new RAID. The previous monster had already been defeated, and now I was starting another battle from scratch with Salamander.

Nevertheless the raid is still ongoing the monster "Salamander" has a lot of HP left which means that these is still plenty of room for more summons to discover awesome cards and hopefully another climb on the leaderboard.

For now, I am happy with how this new RAID has started. From discovering a Legendary Fire card and several Epic cards, to claiming 48 daily quest points and moving from 10th to 7th place, it has already been an interesting start.

Let's see what happens as the battle against Salamander continues.
