Whiteness in the midst of sharp thorns
In the midst of this monotonous mechanical life, some moments suddenly change our insides. Today, I have come to share a small feeling and realization with you.
Our office balcony is usually known as the smoking zone. Many colleagues come there to smoke cigarettes to refresh themselves or to relieve their depression during work. This afternoon, when I went to the balcony to take a breather amid the intense pressure of work, the cigarette smoke and the brick and stone walls around me made me feel lonely.
Right then, my eyes fell on the abandoned roof of the building next to the balcony.

The adjacent roof is completely neglected, where human feet rarely step. I think that even if there is no human attention, nature never fails to reveal its form. Several wild trees have grown there completely on their own terms without any care or fertilizer.

In the crowd of those wild plants, a thorny tree completely caught my eye. The tree was nothing more than our familiar herbal plant Contikari or White Contikari (Solanum sisymbriifolium).
The whiteness blooming in the smoke and my perception
The leaves and trunk of the tree are covered with terrifying, sharp yellow thorns. But in the midst of them, some pure milky-white flowers bloom with utmost compassion. For me, this scene was not just a picture of a tree; it was a deep symbol of life.
The smoky air of the office balcony and the abandoned roof next door—all together, the surrounding environment was very indifferent. In my opinion, the conticari flower is a silent revolution amidst all that apathy.
It is possible to flourish even in the midst of injury: The sharp thorns of the tree are like the form of the sorrow, pain, and deprivation of our lives. I think that the thorns of life can indeed wound us, but if we can maintain our brightness inside, it is possible to blossom something beautiful even in the midst of adversity.
Not getting lost in neglect: Like the roof next door, our lives often become neglected. In my opinion, whether someone takes care of us or not does not reduce the value of life. The real meaning of life is to spread the beauty within yourself.
The big impact of small moments: The beauty of this wildflower seemed to me to be a priceless gift, pushing the extreme fatigue of work and the fog of smoke away, which calmed my entire mind.

When I finished taking the photographs, I realized that this is how life is. It's not about where we are; it's about how we live. You can see in the pictures that the sharpness of the thorns is as real as the innocence of the white flowers.
