THIS SAYING WAS HIDDEN FROM THEM
“But they understood none of these things; this saying was hidden from them, and they did not know the things which were spoken.” — Luke 18:34 (NKJV)
READ: Luke 18:31–34
In this Luke chapter 18, from verse 31 to 34, Jesus spoke about His suffering and crucifixion and resurrection again, but the disciples could not understand it; because it was hidden to them.
They were bewildered as to how could the Messiah be killed? Jesus was about 33, ministry had just started. But the doings of God cannot be disputed.
Now, if your ministry would be for a period of time, a space of time, or it would be small or minute, do not be bothered about it. It is not about what men say about your assignment but what God says. It is not how big, but how faithful you are.
Your work may be foundational like Ananias who prayed for Paul and never mentioned again, yet instrumental to Paul's apostolic ministry.
