The Pain of Losing a Small Thing That Meant So Much
It’s been a while since I made a post.
I can't say is my fault entirely and I won't also put the blame on work or laziness. it was something, I never saw coming and completely beyond my control. My phone was stolen recently and believe it or not, this is actually the second time that I am experiencing this. I went from online to being completely phoneless. This are one of those challenges, we encounter in life without warning.
In my next post, I will be sharing the full gist of how it happened but for now I am just in the mood of talking about nonsense because my mind is still unsettled. Hopefully, inside this nonsense, there is still little sense to pick from it. Because honestly, I can't afford to keep my blog empty for almost a month. Life must surely go on.

When you actually lose your phone, it feels like a part of your life has been stolen. That is when you start thinking of some of your old videos, chat, pictures and memories that you would never see again. In fact, even the alarm I hate so much that wakes me up every morning and the songs stored in my phone that I am tired of listening, I now miss them.
I know it might sound funny at the moment but you won't realize how dependent you are until your fingers start reaching for a ghost that’s no longer there. silence becomes strangely loud when you are used to your phone lighting up every seconds.
They were days where I felt so empty without the phone because, truthfully, my phone use to be my little companion. But guess what, in those quiet moments, something shifted. I started noticing things again. The warmth in my family, the rhythm of my own thoughts arguing like old friends, the laughter that comes without notifications. Maybe that’s the hidden sense in this nonsense. That sometimes, life has a way of pulling the plug for a bit, so that we can reboot, not because you want to, but because you need to.
At the end of the day, life would not wait for you to be prepared before it teaches you a lesson. it sometimes uses joy, pain or maybe a stolen phone. So yeah, I am pissed off after losing the phone. but I just have to see it as life’s quiet way of helping me find something I didn’t even know I was missing.

Lessons learned: Always make a backup! Life does NOT take place online! And — you're good at solving problems ;-)))
thank u ma. for now, i am using a laptop to navigate steemit. i have gotten so used to phone that navigating laptop has been a bit challenging.. But it is a nice experience because there are some stuff that I don't see using my phone but with a laptop, i can see them.
You see, it's the other way around for me—I'm not familiar with how it looks on a cell phone. Maybe we're both missing something ;-))
I'm sorry to hear that. Maybe your phone will find its way back to you - you never know...
my laptop is my new phone now.. Although somethings here are not easy to navigate with laptop but with time, i will get use to it.
thank u for your concern
Sorry for what you have to pass through... hopefully, a better phone will come your way
