The Diary Game || 30-09-26 || Ending the Month in the Farm & Nonchalant Activities

It's quite hilarious to own a day but don't know how to run it. No schedules because schedules don't work out as planned. So I was being so nonchalant with my activities on this day. Whenever I'm at home, I do things just to chase boredom away. So I woke up that morning as early as possible because it has been my routine to watch a movie to start my day. The movie I watched was the trending Nollywood movie called My 30th wedding.

This movie trended and I decided to go watch it. The movie was a real vibe and it addresses marriage in an African home. Parents pressures on their children to get married to any man or woman because they are aging so fast, especially with female children. The twist was how a wedding planner planned on her getting her 30th wedding planning to be hers and she was on the 25th wedding planning. It got to the point it was as if she would be a failure after trying severally with approachable men. I don't want to spoil the movie until you watch it yourself.

After that, I did my chores which was basically sweeping the compound. Due to the fact that it has been raining, I couldn't sweep for 2 days. I'm the only one in my house who sweeps in a beautifully way. How do you sweep your compound if it's not interlocked? Are the lines of your broom very visible or clean like mine?

Thereafter, I decided to surf the net and market a phone I got from someone. You need to see the number of people who needed this phone. I just had to choose those who would buy at my price and then market with them. This is the phone. It's an android, but it looks just like iPhone 17. Even the name is 17promax. Feeling so bored, I decided to be intentional with my breakfast. Ohh, I didn't tell you that I usually eat late at night.

Instead of just eating a what was available, I decided to mix porridge with fries to know how the combo tastes. I made fries from unripe plantain. After slicing it in bits, I decided to apply salt and pepper to it to marinate. I then fried the plantain to become strong like chips. I combined it with fried egg and pie. Just imagine the combo. So strong. Combining porridge with all these fries. Let me shock you. It went well though. It was perfect.

These are the steps I used in preparing this combo. Before sharing the steps, these are my ingredients.

• porridge

The porridge was already made. I just had to fry my plantain and arrange them on one side of my plate. My pies were already made. It was just my plantain chips and egg that I made fresh that day. After consuming my combo, I had a little rest before fiddling my phone and then ended the day by visiting the farm to check out how things are grown.

After doing things at home, I took a walk down to where my farm is, to see how things are grown and what control measures to take to avoid pest attacks. First, I went to the large plot of large my friend and I are cultivating tomatoes together.

He actually did some work on it by tilling the ground for the piece of land that was uncultivated. The tomatoes we transplanted some weeks back had grown and he did justice to it by making mounts on the tomatoes so that it can be firmly established in the soil.

I didn't go there alone. I went to with my friend and we discussed a lot of things together while on our way to the farm. When we got to the farm, he got a shovel and started working while I entertained him and my second friend with songs to motivate them. My own job was to pour manure on the ground so that when it is tilled, the ground can be fertile soil enough for planting. You can see that we have over 4 bags of manure to make the soil fertile for the growth of this tomatoes as it was planted for commercial purpose.

After working on this large piece of land, we visited our garden at home. In our garden, we plant vegetables all through and some of the vegetables include;

• cucumbers
• cabbages
• beetroots
• scent leaves and leaves he likes.

The cabbages were growing perfectly well, even those at the nursery were growing healthily because we always control pest weekly until it gets to its maturity stage. I did some harvest though and it was with the cucumbers since most of them were matured enough for harvesting. The taste was so fresh and natural as if it were removed from the river. This is a picture of me eating the cucumber.

I also harvested some beetroots from the farm for my neighbour. It was already night and I retired home to my family. Food was already prepared for me to enjoy. I checked the market before going to bed. My dinner was MTN RICE with banana. That's how my day ended.
