The Diary Game: [17/09/2026] A Tiring Day at the Store
Good day everyone, my name is Emmanuel and my username is @emmycore. Today started quite early for me. I woke up early, did a little exercise and then had tea and bread for breakfast. After eating and getting myself ready, I headed to my mother's store to begin another day of work. The morning was fairly normal, and I was hoping I would be able to get a few things done during my free time.
Thankfully, the headache I had yesterday had subsided, but unfortunately, I discovered that I had developed a really bad cough and catarrh. It made me feel tired and uncomfortable throughout the day, and I honestly didn't have much energy to do anything productive. I had planned to spend some of my free time reading or doing some research, but with the way I was feeling, I decided not to force myself and just take things slowly.
Around lunchtime, I had rice and beans with kpomo, which was actually prepared by my younger sister. I was honestly surprised because I didn't know she could cook like that. The food turned out pretty good, so I definitely wasn't complaining. Lol, I just hope she doesn't see this part because I'm finished if she does.
After eating, I started feeling a little bored while waiting for customers. Since I wasn't really feeling well enough to do anything serious, I decided to play with the cat we have around the store. For some reason, the cat kept biting me, although I eventually realized that it wasn't just me because the cat apparently bites almost everyone. I guess that's just how the cat chooses to show affection.
While spending some time with the cat, I decided to read some novels to keep myself busy while attending to customers. Reading helped make the long hours at the store feel a little less boring. I also played some songs during the day, which gave the store a more lively feeling and helped me relax despite how tired and sick I was feeling.
Eventually, the day came to an end. After a long and tiring day, I locked up the store and prepared to head home. By that point, I was extremely tired and honestly just wanted to get home, lie down and get some much-needed sleep. It wasn't the most productive day, but considering how I was feeling, I was glad I was still able to get through the day.
