today

Hi everyone, welcome to another diary with your friend @jay357, today I decided to do a job I've putting away for a very long time, and that's the fixing if a leaking pipe that has been worrisome for a while now, i had scheduled this morning with the plumber, I called him to remind him of his commitment this morning of which he assured me that he'd come, not too long after I heard a banging on my gate, I checked and it was the plumber, he came in, took the estimate of the materials needed for the job and he went back into town to get them.

He returned about an hour later with the required materials of which I had to confirm personally to avoid any issues, then it was time to start work, the first thing he did was to escavate around the faulty pipe to be able to remove it, he removed the pipe, exchange it for the good one and laid it back into the the proper position while he proceeded to fill it back with sand, the whole job took less than 2 hours, I was a little bit sad that it didn't take more time considering how much I was billed, I had to pay him the agreed upon amount and he left.

After that I went ahead to start the next project for the day, as the rains are falling constantly, it's the same say grasses are growing rapidly, I must remove this grasses that grows between the interlock stones and I have to do it by hand. Between the quatting, kneeling and the pains in my fingers I had to console myself that I was exercising, and it's for a good cause, the job took a about 2 hours and caused so much pains and stress on my laps but I had to get it done.

It was lunchtime when I finally completed all my jobs, the first thing I did was to get food from the freezer to defrost, I checked and didn't know what to eat because I didn't have much power to start making food, I just carried a portion of Egusi soup made with beef, there was no power so I couldn't defrost it with the microwave, I had to do it the old fashioned way, drop it on a bowl of water while I heat up some water to make my eba for swallow, after making my eba, the soup was loosened enough, I transferred it into a pot to heat up for a few minutes before dropping to serve my self. Thanks for reading.
