The Diary Game: A typical Rainy day in Abuja: 16th September, 2026

Hello Beautiful people, it’s your girl @khadeejahummi, welcome to my diary game on how my day went.

I woke up late this morning, around 8 am. I noticed the weather was not friendly like it was going to rain. I canceled my plans for the day, because it included going to the market and I wouldn’t want to get drenched at the market.

Because the weather was so cool this morning, i made a light breakfast which came out really tasty, not like I even put in so much effort.

After I was done eating, I did the dishes, made my bed, swept and mopped the floor, I was super exhausted by the time I was done, I sat down for a bit to relax, I didn’t even notice when I slept off, it was the sound of the heavy rain that woke me up, my windows were open, so I quickly went to shut them.

At this point, I was already cold, so I just put on my cardigan, dragged my blanket over and wrapped myself up, I slept for a while, it was still raining by the time I woke up. I just figured today is going to be a rainy day.

I heated some water to bath with, after my bath, I quickly got dressed because the weather was so cold, I even had goosebumps as a result of the cold.

For lunch, I was too lazy to cook so I brought out the shawarma I got last night from the fridge, I microwaved it, then had it for lunch, I over fed, so I sat on the spot for a while for the food to digest. I played a couple of games with my phone too.

When the rain subsided a bit, I quickly rushed out to get pepper and onion that I will use to make dinner, just out the gate, I saw a chicken and it’s chicks, i guess it felt threatened by me , she chased me and almost scratched me, but I got away, lol.

The rain was becoming heavier but I managed to get home before it came with full force, I changed into my leisure wear and my cardigan, prepared dinner and settled to watch a movie on my laptop. These is pretty much how my day went.
