Don't get distracted by the polo 😅 I just felt like wearing it that day and that's one of my favourite polos. After checking the situation on ground properly I concluded that is high time I start weightlifting. Over the years I have been engaging in only Home workouts no dumbbells at all. I started in junior high school and while growing I started noticing some changes in my body. My chest getting bigger, shoulders getting broader, legs and arms getting stronger and so on.

These noticeable changes really got me motivated to keep on working out even though I was not always consistent. I saw myself doing lots of push-ups and pull-ups as well as other amazing kinds of workout. I noticed something else some months later. I don't get tired easily especially when am playing football. I saw myself moving round the field, ensuring I play a very key role in every football game I found myself. I'm so healthy and that's a very great achievement. Your health is your wealth.

If you check my previous posts you will discovered that I have been preparing for a sports competition and my focus area for now is athletics. Home workouts won't be enough for me to be a very fast runner so I decided to start going to the gym. The pictures uploaded in this posts were pictures snapped by my steemit mentor, in his house. I guess that's why I also wore one of my steemit polos to his house that day, he was the one that introduced me to steemit, lol.

His elder brother bought dumbbells this year and I was excited the first time I heard about it because I know I will surely go to his house to train with them. When I arrived at his house and grab the dumbbells I noticed they were heavier than I thought. I didn't panic much because it was my first time and I know if am consistent, they will no longer be a threat to me. I trained with it intensively that day and I got very tired. I told myself that I really have a long way to go but I will definitely survive the situation by improving faster.

It was still fun though, I have always been to gym but I hardly get the opportunity to do so and I wasn't ready to pay money to train in a particular gym center. When I finished training I requested him to take some pictures of me. I really love taking pictures each time I go to his house. I carried one of the dumbbells and he snapped my hands. I lifted one more time on the bench press and posed for a picture after doing so. Weightlifting isn't for the weak at all. It takes discipline, consistency strength to successfully get used to the system.

We discussed about different things before I left his house and I was very happy that I successfully achieved my goal which was weightlifting. He was happy to see me in his house once again. He has grown stronger and am not surprised because the dumbbells are always at his house. I just hope I improve on time. It won't be easy but I will conquer. I love to win and I will work towards that. Ensure you engage in workout actively please, it really helps the human body in so many ways.
