I took this picture in my street in the afternoon. Our street is a very normal street in Karachi, the ground is dusty and there is some trash lying around as you can see. The car covered on the left side belongs to our neighbor, it mostly stays covered like that. The school girls in maroon uniform in front were coming back after school, they study in a nearby school. This is a daily scene here. The buildings are old and the sunlight was very strong, so the picture came a bit overexposed. I took this picture just to show the outside environment, no filter used, what you see is real.
This is the bakery at the corner of our street - Qadri Dairy and Saleem Bakery. I often go there to buy biscuits. On the counter, there are cake boxes of Saleem Bakery and a boy is standing behind the shop. On the side, there is a JazzCash QR code because now they also accept online payments. I took this picture when I went to buy something, I took it in a hurry so it's a bit blurry. There is also a Pepsi fridge inside. It's a normal small shop like you find in every street of Karachi. No show off, just daily life.
This vegetable cart comes to our street every day. I took this photo while buying vegetables that day. On the cart there were okra, peas, arvi, pumpkin, cauliflower, tomatoes, green chilies. The arvi at the bottom has some mud on it because it had just come from the market. The green vegetables were fresh. You can see a board with "ONE" written on it behind the cart. This is a completely real photo, taken by hand, that's why the focus is a little shaky. In Karachi, such cart vendors come to every neighborhood and women buy vegetables right from outside their homes.
