A PEACEFUL AND PRODUCTIVE DAY IN MY LIFE | THE DIARY GAME - 28TH SEPTEMBER 2026

Hello besties! It's your girl @blessedi. Welcome to another episode of my diary game. I am so happy to share how I spent my day with you all. It was a very peaceful, productive and delicious day.

MY MORNING ROUTINE

I woke up very early as usual. The first thing I did was my morning prayers. I always like to start my day by committing everything into God's hands. After I finished praying, I felt so refreshed and energized.

My grasscutter sleeping

I went outside to check on my grasscutters. When I looked at them, they were all busy sleeping peacefully. I just smiled because at night, these same grasscutters disturb my peace a lot with their noise, but in the morning they will be sleeping like innocent babies. I love watching them.

After checking on them, I went back inside my room to pack my dirty clothes for washing. I checked the weather outside first. The weather was not cloudy at all, it was just normal and bright. Perfect weather for washing. So I brought out all my dirty clothes, fetched water, and started washing. While I was washing, my neighbor also brought out his own clothes to wash. We were both outside washing and greeting each other.

When I finished washing, I rinsed all my clothes very well and spread them neatly on the rope to dry. I also rinsed my washing bucket and took it back inside the house.

AFTERNOON ACTIVITIES AND BREAKFAST

Fresh pepper

After that, I brought out my Okpeye (locust beans) which my fiance's mom sent to me all the way from the village. I checked it and noticed it was not dried enough, so I spread it in a tray so that air and sun could touch it and dry it well. I also brought out my pepper to air it too.

Then it was time for breakfast. I decided to make pap and beans cake (Akara) which is one of my favorite breakfast meals.

To make the Akara, I first brought out my beans flour. I mixed it in a bowl, added my blended pepper and onions, then added a little water to form a thick paste. I added a pinch of salt and half cube of Maggi to taste. I mixed everything together very well. Then I put my groundnut oil on fire, allowed it to heat up, and started frying the Akara one after the other until it turned golden brown.

For the pap, I brought out my pap flour, added a little sugar and room temperature water, and mixed it well to dissolve all the lumps. Then I poured my very hot boiling water into it and stirred quickly. The pap came out smooth and perfect.

After I was done cooking, I quickly rushed to take my bath. I showered and dressed up neatly. Then I went straight to the kitchen to get my breakfast. I sat down comfortably and ate my hot Akara and Pap. Honestly, it was so tasty and delicious. I enjoyed every bite. I made it myself and it was perfect.

When I finished eating, I took my plates back to the kitchen, washed them, and kept them properly. Then I came back inside and sat down for some minutes to rest and press my phone.

The grasss

Later in the afternoon, I remembered my grasscutters again. I went out to cut fresh elephant grass for them because they love eating it so much. I washed the grass very well to remove sand and dirt. After washing, I spread it under the sun for a little while so that the water could dry up a little before giving it to them. Wet grass is not good for them. After the water dried, I packed the grass and kept it where I store their feed.

I was already feeling a bit tired, so I went inside my room to have a short nap. I slept off.

EVENING ROUTINE AND DINNER

When I woke up from my nap, it was already evening. Time flies so fast.

I went to the kitchen to prepare dinner. I decided to make beans soup and semo. I love beans a lot. I cooked the beans soup with so much love, adding all the necessary ingredients to make it delicious.

While I was cooking, my neighbor's little daughter came to meet me. She was smiling and told me that I should make for two people. She wanted to eat with me. I was so happy. I told her no problem.

After I finished cooking, I dished the food and called her to come. We sat down together and ate the beans soup and semo together. We were gistings and laughing while eating. It was a lovely moment. I love being a good neighbor.

After we finished eating, she helped me pack the plates and we washed them together.

That was how my day was spent - simple, peaceful, and full of joy. I thank God for the gift of life and for a successful day.

Thank you for reading my diary. See you in my next diary game.
