The Diary Game: Going To The Gas Station And Market [17/09/2026]
I woke up early today and I was busy helping my friend with loosing and washing her hair, we finished around 10am and proceeded to reheat our rice from the previous night so that we could share that amongst ourselves first then prepare another thing to eat later in the afternoon or evening.
In the afternoon, I took the gas cylinder to the gas station for a refill, I got there and went to the gas stand to drop the gas cylinder first so I could go to the cashier's office to make payment for the number of the kg I wanted to fill. I got to the cashier's window and saw many others standing so I had to join the queue and waited till it got to my turn, when it got to my turn I paid with cash and was given two adjoined receipts which the pump attendant took one from and filled the gas for me and I got a bike and returned back home.
When I got back home I was on the phone for over an hour, later on me and my friend decided to calculate the money we'll spend on what we were going to eat that evening so we can split the bills but after our calculations I suggested to her that we change what we wanted to make from spaghetti to rice and she agreed so I offered to go to the market to get a few things since she is currently not in good health.
I changed my clothings to something I could wear to the market and walked to the junction to get bike, from my friend's house to the junction is just a few minutes-not even up to five minutes walk so it is easier for me. I got to the junction, took bike and went to the market.
At the market I got fresh tomatoes, ugwu, ½ pack of Terra Seasoning Cubes, some pieces of dry pepper,two cups of groundnut Oil, crayfish and Big Viva Soap. I went home after getting the things on the list I wrote before going to the market.
After getting home, I dropped the things I got from the market and decided to slice the ugwu, after that I went to fetch two buckets of water, had my bath and ate when food was ready. My friend was cooking while I was doing other things.
