Drugs I used in recovering from my malaria

The greatest philosophers of our generation have always being known to emphasise so much on good health, some of their sayings include "health is wealth", "cleanliness which is also known as good health is next to Godliness.

Hello Steemians, hope you all an amazing day. For about a week now, I have being suffering from Malaria, Malaria which is known to be caused by the bite from a female (anopheles) mosquito. Symptoms of Malaria are High Temperature, Constant change in Body Temperature.

I have being suffering from extreme high body temperature and even constant smeezing and headaches for the past week now. So today was just a solo day for me recovering from my illness.

Waking up to another Day of Recovery

Waking up from bed was a struggle but as a strong man that I was and that I am, I had to stand up from bed, there is a popular saying of the yoruba that goes "ibi lile lati bokunrin" meaning "it's in the rigorous things, we'll find the male gender".

Stood up from my bed, did my prayers. Proceed to go wash my teeth. I can't really do with brushing my teeth twice a day. I have a very disturbing gum. I think I really need to visit the dentist, my gums aches me whenever it's being hours I brushed my teeth last and more aching when I had ate alot of things.

Brushing my highly-sensitive gums and teeth

After I was done brushing my teeth, I proceed to taking my bathe with cold water, I bathed with warm water yesterday. With me running high temperature I had to use cold water to cool down my temperature.

Taking my bathe with Cold Water

A while after I had taken my bathe. I proceed to cook my meal. There was clearly no one to take care of me, I had to do everything myself, Though I don't really have all the strength in the world, but I still had to manage. First, I had to wash my Rice and Place the pot with Water on Fire. Placed the rice into the water.

After my rice had boiled for about 25 to 30 minutes, my rice was done and ready to be served. I had a ready made stew. So I served my delicious White Rice and Stew, the meal was tasty and I felt refreshed for the day, after my meal. I had my medications of Paracetamol and another Antibiotics drugs.

After breakfast, I went back to bed. The malaria had left me weak, so I slept and rested for most of the day from around about 12pm to 5pm. In the evening, I felt strong enough to sit up and write this in my notebook: my daily habit plan. It's something have being wanting to write for a while now. Feeling much better right now. I just had to do it tonight.

my daily habit plan

Here's what's on the first page. Under daily devotional and Bible reading, I listed Open Heavens, Daddy's prayer session, my personal prayer session, reading the Bible in one year plan and my devotional Bible guide. Physically, I plan a morning walk under the early morning sun or some house chores, some socialising with people, and a workout session.

For academics, I'll attend lectures, study for at least an hour a day, put more focus on my SIWES defence for now, and read online books on data analytics, consistency and discipline, sales, and socialisation and communication. Under skill acquisition, I'll look for a mentor, stay consistent and attend tech events.

earning, devotion and self-care

The second page is about earning, and mine is Steemit: post consistently with self-written blogs, comments, upvotes, friends and contests, and take at least 10 quality pictures of my day. It also repeats my morning routine, a 20-minute walk around my area, a daily workout and house chores, and adds self-care: brush, bathe and get out for some vitamin D.

Writing it down is my first step. For now, I'm grateful to be recovering. Early tomorrow, I will set time for my Daily Habit and looking forward to go on a 20 mins walks. I have stayed inside alot for this past week. My diary is all about how I am recovering from Malaria and still trying to get my life in order as well. Till my next diary, guys, take care of yourselves and your health. Much love from me to you all.
