The Diary Game:[03/08/2026] going to watch a football game at the community pitch, going to the market to buy stuffs and cooking (Urie) soup

hello beautiful family welcome to another episode of my diary session, waking up to an amazing day, always make me happy, today my community hosted their first soccer final, it was a great milestone, and I was lucky to be available,so I headed to the football pitch to witness with myself.

but quite unfortunate I arrived late,at the arena, the players were already coming out for the second half, I checked my time it's 5:04 pm, I was wondering, when will they complete their 45 minutes, since it may get dark before then, cause there's no power supply in the community football pitch.

the game started for the second half, these players played like professionals, with their strength, black players have strength so much, so were so experienced, the played with deco and unity, it was quite a difficult game and not a type to decide, I would say the decision lyes that at a end of a game (final) their must be a winner.

the fans were making some drilling noise, chanting some abusive names, it was a little annoying, the players were quite good, I was even asking why the first pitch in the community wasn't cleared properly, you could still see some grasses, actually I wasn't supposed to stay too long at the pitch cause I was also to go to the market before night fall, I didn't witness the game end.

I headed to the market square which was close to the pitch,finally after some walk I arrived at the market, the market was not full as usual, then I asked and and someone told me that mostly on this day Mondays people always rest, so few marketers were in the market.

so I went to this woman that calls me customer, most people did not come to the market so, I couldn't exercise my purchase power, this was oligopoly, few sellers most buyers,so I purchased every thing I needed here,(pepper, salt e.t.c) but they are no perishable foods like vegetables.

so I started going round the market looking for some vegetable, some I saw wasn't looking nutritious, some were already in the sun, and some were not fresh, I saw a lady I went to her she was so soft spoken, she purchased and help to slice it as an addition, in an oligopoly system where demand is more efficient than supply,she still showed concern.

after some time at the market purchasing stuffs, Ii wasn't feeling well there, there was no much noice, cause few people were at the market, but I don't like market vibe, I was already ready to go home after purchasing the stuffs I needed so I headed home.

when I arrived home I brought out my spices meat stuck and reasoned it, added some chopped onions, the meat was not much in quantity,then it cooked for at least 4 minutes,then I set it at side.

everything was ready to start cooking my soup, this is called (Urie) soup from local spices,I brought a pot, added palm oil and my oil placed it on the fire for 30 seconds, I added my chopped onion, added water, spices,meats and other ingredients, and I left to cook for 8 minutes, then I putted in my vegetables and it cooked for some seconds, and I brought it down, food is ready.

the food is ready and has great aroma, but it wasn't time for me to eat, I will take it with some eba garri from (cassava flour), so it's a amazing day and a amazing food, using this opportunity to congratulate and appreciate all members @steemit, keep it up everyday is a story to tell, I still remains @johnpology love you'll. ♥️♥️♥️
