Chowdhuripara Mor is one of the bustling and prominent spots in Habra Union, Parbatipur Upazila. Located 800 meters east of Chaupati Bazar, this village intersection is easily accessible from either Chaupati Bazar or Bhabanipur Bazar. On market days at Bhabanipur Bazar, numerous vehicles station themselves here to transport customers. Additionally, the location features a very old banyan tree and a shop selling earthen pots and pans.

There is a small shop beneath an old banyan tree that sells various types of furniture crafted by local artisans. The shop was closed when I visited, so I could not show the furniture inside. In front of the shop, there is a bamboo platform for sitting where young men gather to chat; people from various walks of life also play games there during their leisure time.

When I visited the site, the atmosphere beneath the tree was delightful and cool. A young man was sitting on a raised platform there, chatting away. Thanks to the age and size of the banyan tree, the area remains pleasantly cool. Beneath the tree, there are two shops, a small pond, and a pathway. Additionally, the main road connecting Bhabanipur to Chaurasta runs right beside the banyan tree.

There were few people at this intersection today. People gather here at various times to discuss different topics, and the place will bustle with activity once the upcoming elections begin. Although there used to be two shops, one is now closed; currently, only the shop selling pots and pans remains open. As this is a Hindu-majority village, large crowds are seen during various major festivals and events.

Even when there is no electricity, many people come to stand under these banyan trees to enjoy the cool breeze for a while. Banyan trees are incredibly beneficial to us, and every part of the tree including the leaves serves a useful purpose. Spending time socializing in such places is excellent for our health. These banyan trees have become gathering spots not only for people but also for birds.

This is the best spot in our area for hanging out, as it serves as a venue for discussions, critiques, and constructive conversations on various political topics. I really like the place and consider it a great spot for the locals; however, since it is not located at the main intersection of my village, I do not usually hang out there.
