The Diary Game: Anointing Church Service/ Cooking/ Making My Sister's Hair (13/09/2026)

Hi everyone, welcome to another diary session with yours truly @ruthyvelly. I will be sharing with you how my day went.

I started my day as usual but was feeling pains all over my body, i did my morning devotion and stretched my body before proceeding to my morning chores. I started by sweeping, mopping, and dusting the entire house, after which I headed to the bathroom to take my bath and also prepare for church.

I was very surprised when I got to church and met them in opening prayers because I have always been a late church goer. After the opening prayer, we entered praises and worship which the choristers sang wonderful and melodious songs which was led by their leader.

Announcement was given after that by one of the female ministers. There is a program we were planning to do which I forgot, but after the announcement was passed across, I remembered and too note of the date.

After the announcement, our pastor climbed the pulpit to give sermon. He preached with the Bible verse (Jeremiah 52:33), then after brief preaching, we entered prayers and from the prayers, we ended up at the anointing service. It actually took some time because of the congregation that came to church.

When we dismissed from church, my sister rushed to the market, while I went home with my nephew. After some minutes, she came back from the market, I assisted her in preparing the food. We only cooked the stew because she woke up very early in the morning to cook the rice and beans. When the food was ready, she dished it out.

Immediately we were done eating, I started making her hair. I tried to convince her not to make the hair because of time, but she insisted on doing it. I couldn't finish it on time and luckily for her, there was light and that was the reason I tried and finished it before bed time.
