Two days ago my gas burner got spoiled and it was a serious issue because it automatically stopped me from cooking till I fixed the problem. I'm the kind of person who doesn't always have a chance but today I created one to get the said burner at the market price.

When my gas burner got spoiled I went out for a market survey with the retailers at my disposal. Their price went wild at the rate of N2,500 and I was curious. I left the first store and went ahead some kilometers away from the first person to the next store same price, I left to the next store same price I was bothered because the last time I bought it was lower than their market price of N2,500.

So today I decided to went to the market and confirm it by myself when I arrived at the market I ask my way about to the kitchen utensils department I stroll in and start asking as a procurement officer not being in haste I took my time to confirm from each other till I got the market price of N1,000 and I bought it thereafter went ahead to get some plates, cups and kitchen knife I needed to replace the funny thing is that I got them at a cheaper rate.

Now here is my secret anytime Im going to the market I take my time to ask questions and don't always give heeds to the people who always stand at the gate to ask you whatsoever you want the are price impostors so you will avoid them look for someone in a shop and ask your way about and be curious don't always appear timid be full of discerning character that is how you will arrive at the exact market price.

Second tips is that when you hear the price of an item for example you want to purchase something like a Clothes here in Nigeria check for the quality of it by your hand then slash down the price into two start from the and bargain this should be after you have confirm from 3 different sellers from the you will get the real market price in a good quality.

The final tip is to always have this discerning mind, don't always believe in the first person perspective, rather go around and do your research, gather more information for yourself.

Incase you want to buy an edible items always check out for this three things; Nafdac Number, Batch No, Expiry date and let it be well printed on the body of the item to avoid buying fake item don't buying any edible items without this 3 things I mention and also check if their seal are intact then I boarded a cab back to the office and arrange some files before heading to my house and fix the burner and use it for cooking.
