The Diary Game: A Day in My Life - House Chores and Baby Care(12/09/2026)

Hello everyone welcome to another episode of my diary session. I woke very early today, because I had a lot of things to do for the day.

Today was one of those normal busy days at home. Nothing fancy, just the everyday work that keeps the house running.

I started early with laundry. Because for past 5 days it has been raining heavily and everyday, so I couldn't wash clothes. The clothes pile up and became much, I don't have a washing machine I use my hands to wash clothes. As you can see, clothes were everywhere. I had to separate the clothes, the white were soaked in a detergent, and soaked the colored ones to wash by hand. No washing machine here, just soap, water, and energy.

After washing, I took a short break outside with my baby. She loves sitting with me and looking around. We just sat on the chair and watched the environment while fed her breast milk. Those small moments mean a lot.

I was done with washing, then I went to dry the clothes on the lines. Then it was back inside for kitchen work. Dishes were pile up from the previous night use. Pots, plates, cups. I washed everything one by one until the sink was clear again.

Cleaning doesn’t end in the kitchen. The floor also needed mopping. I wanted the house to be neat and fresh, especially with a baby around. So I took the mop stick and a bucket of soapy water to mop the floor. Suddenly it started raining again and everywhere became dark. I had to rush out to pack the clothes from the lines.

Once I was done with moping and washing dishes, it was time to care for baby again. So i got my baby’s things ready. Her bath tub, soap, and sponge were all set. Bath time is always special because she enjoys the water and plays a lot.

After all the work, it was time to eat. I made a simple meal for myself. Pap and akara. Light, warm, and filling. It was exactly what I needed after a long day of chores.

This is what most of my days look like. Washing, cooking, cleaning, and taking care of my baby. It’s tiring sometimes, but it’s also fulfilling. I’m grateful for health and for the little things.

Thank you for reading and following my day♥️🫶
