I hope you are all well and having a great time in your lives. Life has been going on for a long time with its busyness, sometimes the day goes very well and sometimes some days are a little difficult, but that's life, every day something new is learned. ๐
Today I am participating in a new contest and this time the questions are very important and thought provoking. So I thought that instead of just answering, let's think a little about the society around us and what things we want to see better. This topic is particularly important to me, that's why I decided to share my thoughts with you all in very simple words.
I hope you will all share your thoughts with me. How are you all living these days? ๐
What is one thing you would like to change or improve in your community? |
|---|
I would first like to reduce the incidence of abuse and harassment of girls , little baby girls and women in our society. Nowadays in our country we often hear news that a girl child has been raped, harassed or wronged. The saddest part is that many incidents go unreported as the family remains silent for fear of stigmatization. I would like girls in our society to feel safe instead of afraid. When they go out of the house, go to school or leave for a job, they don't have to fear that someone might harm them all the time.

I think it is not enough to just tell girls to be careful. We also need to teach boys and men from a young age what it means to respect dignity and boundaries of the ladies. If a girl is wronged. She should be supported instead of being blamed. I would like our society to learn to speak up. Instead of being silent on this issue.
Why is this change important to you and the people around you? |
|---|
This change is very important to me because every girl child has the right to live a safe life. No parent wants to send their daughter out of the house thinking that something bad might happen to her along the way. But many parents in our society worry about the safety of their girls all the time. This is not just a family problem but a whole society problem.
What bothers me the most is that sometimes after such incidents people force the girl victim to answer questions. Her clothes, going out or talking to anyone are questioned, while the real responsibility lies with the person who committed the abuse. It is very important to change this thinking.

If we want our girls to learn with confidence, fulfill their dreams and move forward in the society, we have to provide them with a safe environment. It is not enough to make a law, but people's thinking must also change. I think when a girl child is safe, her entire family is at peace, and when a society protects its girl child, that society becomes better and stronger.
If you had the opportunity and resources, how would you make this change happen? |
|---|
If I get the chance and resources. I will work on creating awareness among people for this issue first. I would like to see programs at the school and community level. Where children are taught from the beginning about good and bad behavior. The personal boundaries and respect for others. Girls should also be told that they don't have to keep quiet. If someone tries to touch, threaten or harass them inappropriately. I give strict punish to those who did this with the innocent girls.
Also, I would like awareness programs for parents to listen to their children and support them. Instead of immediately doubting or scolding them. There should also be an easy and safe way to complain about such incidents, so that the victim can seek help without fear.

I would also like to create a team at the local level to guide needy families and help them reach relevant institutions. I think this problem will not end in a day, but if people work together instead of staying silent, improve the education of children and support the victims, things can definitely change slowly.

I sincerely appreciate @muzack1 sir your support. May Allah grants you endless success and happiness .
Hi, friend. Thanks for the invitation. Harassment of women is a daily occurrence; some people even support it as part of their culture. I think the laws need to change to punish it, but corruption often gets in the way.
When I see news stories like this, I wish I had a magic wand to punish the culprit.
Good luck in the contest ๐ซ
