in Incredible India • 6 days ago (edited)

Greetings, wonderful Steemians! 👋

It's a pleasure to be here again to share my thoughts, thanks the incredible indian community for giving me the opportunity 🙏

How do you evaluate moments? Explain!

The criteria I use when evaluating my experiences and moments is their meaning and significance for me, the knowledge or lessons that they have taught me and how much effect they had on my life.

It seems to me that not all moments should be evaluated only based on the happiness they bring me. There are some moments which make me realize something useful for me, there are some moments which make me appreciate everything I have.

I consider it very important to value both positive and hard moments because positive moments bring good memories and happiness and hard moments make me stronger, wiser and more careful. Another criterion that I use when evaluating my experience is the knowledge or lessons which I get from those moments.

I feel that the value of moments does not lie in how long they last but in what you can take from them. Whether it is a good experience, something to learn from or a positive change. Therefore I appreciate the good times, learn from the bad times and do not take the small things for granted.

Write a diary entry mentioning your unforgettable moments of life!

The lessons of life are many, but those that are most painful are from those whom you least expect to bring you down. In reviewing the life I have led, one of the experiences that stand out is that of the disappointment I faced from my best friend.

This person was the epitome of everything I thought friendship entailed, which was being there for each other, helping one another and sticking together despite the challenges that we were facing in our lives. Every time my friend needed help, I was always ready to be there and assist. I helped in various ways, supported him and even helped him with tasks that he could not accomplish on his own. I did not do this with any expectation of reward.

However, with the passage of time, I came to the realization that what I considered to be true friendship was not the same for him. The one who I believed would understand me and value my efforts ultimately turned out to be disappointing for me. What stung more than anything else was the fact that the help that I offered was not valued.

A number of questions were constantly running through my mind. Was I foolish to have trusted him? Was being generous an error on my part? Why does it become so hard at times to get in return the care that we so easily offer to others?

These questions remained in my mind for a long time. It was heartbreaking to accept that somebody who was part of your life and shared moments with you without appreciating your efforts.

However, gradually, I learned another valuable lesson. Not everybody entering our lives is supposed to remain forever, and not everybody deserves to be trusted the same way. There are some people coming into our lives to teach us important lessons we could never get from any book.

That experience taught me that friendship means a lot more than only kindness, loyalty, and being helpful to others. Now I know that besides all those qualities, I need to protect my peace and pay attention to how people treat me. I do not want the pain of today to turn me into a person who will stop helping other people tomorrow.

one of the most unforgettable moments in one's life is not necessarily a happy moment; sometimes, it is a painful moment which teaches us many important lessons about people. Although the memory is still painful for me, it has made me more experienced, cautious, and understanding about human relations.

if there is one lesson that I will remember throughout my life, it is this: Do not feel sorry for having a kind heart just because some people do not value it. It is their actions that show their attitude.

Please provide instances from your journal that have significantly shaped your current identity and perspective!

When thinking back over my journal reflections there are many things that have helped shape my views, actions and relationships with others. Some memories made me feel happy whilst others made me remember the harsh lessons we learn. Overall though I have been impacted by every aspect of my experiences.

i Disappointment from a friend 💔

One disappointing moment throughout my journal was when one of my close friends disappointed me. During our time together I had total faith in my friend and I had done everything possible to help them, however it did not go well. I found this a very upsetting situation to be in because I did not know the person I was trusting would disappoint me.

This helped me understand that not everyone will value the efforts that people put into helping them. Whilst I still believe in helping others I have learned to be more careful over who I trust.

ii Accepting hardships

An important thing I have also learned in my life is to accept that we will face disappointment and hardships as we grow older. Occasionally things haven’t gone the way I wanted them to but I have been brave enough to move forward.

I have developed patience and determination throughout these moments. Life does not always go as we want it to!

iii Helping those around you

I have learnt that it is important to help those around you even if they cannot help you back. I should be a kind person.

However I have learnt that it is important to set boundaries. Although I can love others I will not sacrifice my peace of mind and will not expect the same treatment in return.

My Conclusion

These experiences have helped shape who I am and how I look at life. These experiences have taught me to value true friendships, to always think before I trust anyone, and to be kind and compassionate, yet without forgetting about myself.

More importantly, according to my diary, our experiences are meant not only to be remembered but also to teach us something about ourselves. While I cannot change my past, I can definitely learn from my experiences and make different choices in the future.

I will be inviting 🌷
