Finding the Human Touch in a Digital Era

Right now, we’re experiencing some of the most interesting times in our human history. Our technology continues to evolve at a mind-boggling rate, revolutionizing everything from how we work to how we communicate and even how we make art. It seems there are no limits to what the digital world will continue to offer us.

Yet for all its advancement and innovation, I’ve come to realize there are few things as essential as having a human touch behind every project we take on. While machines are capable of churning out results, automating tasks and analyzing data, they are really only imbued with life if they were created by humans with some sort of human spirit involved.

I’ve always found myself captivated during the creative process because I believe it involves both logic and emotions, creating an opportunity for individuals to connect on deeper levels. However, as our technology continues to evolve, and we become more automatized in all aspects of our lives, sometimes it’s difficult to remember the importance of authentic human connection in our creativity.

It’s critical that as we navigate through the ever-changing landscape of this digital world, we find the necessary balance within ourselves to not only appreciate the advancements but also embrace those technological changes to allow room for more creative expression. It’s important to figure out how we can use technology to assist us in performing routine tasks, thus freeing up our time and energy to engage creatively using our own unique intentions to create meaningful expressions.
