Assalam Alaikum to all.
It's been a week today since my dear grandfather left this world, but even today it feels like it was all a dream. The heart is still not ready to accept that he is no longer with us. His memory lives with me every moment, and his love still warms my heart.
Dada Abu was not only my grandfather, but one of the most precious blessings in my life. He loved me very much. Whenever we went to the village, he would meet first as usual like everyone else. But as soon as they realized that "it is Sadaf", a different kind of joy would come on their faces. He would immediately call me close, hug me with love and pray. His loving manner, his kindness and his sincerity were the most beautiful feeling of my life.
Today, when they are not among me, I realize that the most precious wealth in the world is the love of my elders. No one can replace them. Even today, the heart wants to call me again with the same love, hug me and pray for me. But now it is only a beautiful memory.
The scene of their last sight does not pass before my eyes. Seeing my grandfather Abu wrapped in a white shroud was the most difficult moment of my life. At that time, for the first time, I felt the reality of life so closely that one day we all have to embark on the same journey. Everything in the world will remain here, only our actions and our love in people's hearts will remain.
My grandfather was a simple, good-hearted and loving person. He always loved, respected and blessed his family. These qualities of his will always live in our hearts. Even today, when I remember his words, my eyes become wet, but at the same time, my heart is grateful that Allah Almighty gave me a loving grandfather like him.
I pray to Allah from the bottom of my heart that Allah may forgive my grandfather Abu, make his grave one of the gardens of Paradise, bestow upon him His innumerable blessings, forgive all his misdeeds and grant him the highest position in Paradise. Amen or Lord of the worlds.
Finally, I just want to say that if your parents, grandparents or grandparents are with you, cherish them. Spend time with them, show love to them and be sure to take their prayers, because when they are gone, only their memories remain, and then one keeps those memories close to one's chest for the rest of one's life.
May Allah forgive all the deceased including my grandfather Abu and grant them the highest position in Jannat al-Firdous. Amen. 🤲🕊️💔
