What would you like to rewrite if you got a chance to rewrite anything in your life? Share!

Not the whole world, just me. As a 16-year-old student in SS3, writing WAEC and JAMB, I have realized that my biggest enemy is not my subjects, but myself.

I would rewrite my habit of procrastination. That habit has stolen so much from me. I would tell myself to read for 2 hours, but I would pick up my phone and before I know it, 2 hours is gone on TikTok and WhatsApp. Then I would feel guilty and promise to start tomorrow. And that tomorrow never really came.

If I can rewrite that one habit, everything will change. Because if I manage my time well, my grades will improve, my parents will be less worried about me, and I will be more confident to face my exams. I will no longer panic when exam is close because I already prepared.

We all have that one habit that is holding us back. For me, it is postponing what I should do today. So if God gives me an eraser and says rewrite something, I will not rewrite my past results or my mistakes. I will rewrite my discipline. Because if I can rewrite who I am today, I have automatically rewritten my future.

As a student, second chance is what keeps us going. In SS3, many of us have failed a test before, we have disappointed our parents before, we have wasted time before. If there is no second chance, then it means once you fail, you are finished. But that is not how life works. I have seen it in my own life. Last term, I didn't do well in one of my mock exams because I was not serious. I thought my parents would just give up on me, but they didn't. My father sat me down and said, "You can still make it, just start now." That was my second chance. And from that day, I started taking my books more seriously.

Second chance does not mean you should keep making the same mistake. It means you have another opportunity to correct what you did wrong. It is like a teacher giving you extra time to finish your assignment when you didn't meet up at first.

So I believe God gives us second chances every morning we wake up. Every new day is a second chance to rewrite that bad habit, to read that book we abandoned, to apologize to someone we hurt. If I didn't believe in second chance, I would have no hope for my WAEC and JAMB. But because I believe, I know that even if I wasted yesterday, today I can start again and get it right.

Live life king-size! How do you define the term?

For me as a student, to live life king-size does not mean to have plenty money, drive big cars or wear designer clothes. That's what many people think, but that's not it. To live life king-size means to live your life to the fullest with what you have, while you work for what you want.

It means when I wake up in the morning, I don't just exist, I live. I read my books with full focus, I help my parents at home with joy, I laugh genuinely with my friends, I play football without thinking about tomorrow's assignment, and when it's time to read again, I read like my future depends on it. Many students are just existing. They are alive but they are not living. They are in class but their mind is not there. They are at home but they are just pressing phone, not really happy. That is living life in small-size.

King-size life for me is about discipline. If I can rewrite my habit of procrastination like I said before, then I am already living king-size. Because I will have time to read, time to rest, time to enjoy with family, and time to pray. Nothing is chasing me, I am in control of my life.

So to live life king-size is not about the size of your pocket, it is about the size of your mindset. It is when you give your best in everything you do, whether people are watching or not, and you sleep at night with peace of mind knowing you did your best that day.
