🇮🇹
Come direbbe Jim Morrison "This is the end my only friend".

🇬🇧
As happens every year with everything in life, this season—these 114 days—has come to an end.
As Jim Morrison would say, "This is the end, my only friend."
We did little to nothing this final week; there were only three of us left, very few guests around, and the weather here in Romagna turned bad, bringing plenty of rain.
Still, the job has to be finished; the symbolic ship must dock at the port, and the captain is the last one to disembark.

Tomorrow I head home, where I’ll stay for a couple of months before leaving for Cuba.
Two months during which I need to get back in shape first and foremost; I did some light training this summer—a bit of running but no heavy lifting—since I had to pace myself for work, given my advancing age.
Anyway, without going into too much detail, it went well; I was working for a new agency at a resort where the entertainment team had performed very poorly over the last three years.

On one hand, that’s an advantage—if you just do things right, you’re golden—but on the other, especially at the start, all eyes are on you because of the past disasters.
Still, it’s over now. When a season ends, you feel a desire to go home and be responsible only for yourself, yet there’s also that touch of melancholy that comes with the end of a job, a team, or a project.

But there’s no looking back; a winter and spring split between Valsangone and Las Tunas await me—months that promise to be significant and electrifying.
Turning the page, heading home... until the next suitcase and the next journey.
